I'm not the one with a problem. I'm the one who's a fan of the team that's up 2-1 in the Finals thanks to the amazing play of a certain young Australian PG.

And I never said he was confirmed as a dirty player. I said that there are several of these types of plays and where there's smoke, there's usually fire.

Your problem is the same as every Cavs fan here except Brutus. You can't be objective enough to accept that there may be some of these plays deserve some scrutiny.

Regular season: Love averaged 33 min, Tristan averaged 27.

Delly's been a surprise... but no Cavs fan that has been paying attention is surprised by what Tristan has done in the playoffs

Okay. Maybe I was lumping Tristan in with Delly. I knew that even Cavs fans were surprised by Delly (as was everyone, including Delly ), I thought folks were surprised by Tristan too.

Scrutinize away, there's no player in the NBA that is above that.

I'm just saying calling him dirty based on the evidence is foolish. Last night's play wasn't dirty, he put his shoulder into Green's hip. The thing with Horford, as video evidence showed, was 100% on Horford as he dragged him down. The thing with Korver can go either way. Was it reckless? Yes and he should be more careful in those instances. Was it dirty? Tough sell, guys dive for balls all the time.

What else is there that was dirty?

Actually- Yah- they played Tristan a lot- ESPECIALLY during crunch time when and in the 2nd half when for some reason Blatt becomes afraid to play Mozgov- and of course we all know the highly scrutnized Love bencings down the stretch of games.

No doubt Tristan playing MORE than regular starters minutes becuase of all the injuries has showed off his talents- especially because he never gets hurt or tired-

but- man-i would LOVE to see a lineup of Kyrie, Shumpert, LeBron, Love, Thompson......or even without Irving- say a lineup of Delly, Shumpert, LeBron, Thompson, Love

I mean missing Love means James Jones gets run- means Mike Miller gets run- i mean, I love me some James Jones but lol....cmon now sir.

Well if they end up keeping Moz, TT, and Love, that probably means Varajeo is out then, right?

If only he could stay healthy.

Yeah, after I saw gordon's post I realized I was lumping Tristan in with Delly as being a surprise player. I agree. Either of those lineups you mentioned would be fun to watch. You'd get a nice mix of offense and defense.

I don't want the Cavs to win, but I hate Kyrie being out for you guys. That kid is so much fun to watch.

People just dont understand depth I guess:

NOW a seven man rotation of mainly bench players is better than those guys still getting minutes off the bench, plus 3 starters--two all-stars and still those bench guys going 9 or 10 deep.

I understand they bring defense and toughness, but still it is mind-boggling lol

DEPTH is a big key to a championship run, ask the Spurs.

WEstbrook was by far my favorite player- I was a huge fan of his going way back to when he got all the criticism 3-4 years ago....

Kyrie is now becuase I think there is simply no one more fun to watch in the league. He can do anything he wants with the ball- finishes the craziest layups, hits the craziest heat-check 3's.....I mean the guy had the TWO high scoring games in the league this season. Seriously- who would have guessed that? That the two most prolific scoring games would come from the Cavs and NEITHER one would be LeBron, lol.

Again, I didn't call him dirty. I said that there are several questionable plays by him and they all involve going into a guys legs. At worst, it's dirty play. At best, it's a bit reckless and I agree that he should be more careful.

I also said that I wasn't sure the play last night could be considered dirty, but that he made no effort to avoid Green when he tried to get back into the play.

I get it. Delly's a scrapper, he hustles and he plays hard. If he's not the least talented player in the league, he's among them.

But the guy is making a place for himself in the league by playing harder, being tougher and outhustling the more talented guys that he's going up against every night. I can't fault him for that. As I said in another post, I'd do the exact same thing if it meant I could stay in the league.

But you have to at least be objective enough to admit that while he may not be dirty, he's making some borderline type plays that can be seen that way.

Yeah, that kid is fun to watch no doubt. I can't wait until he jumps to the Lakers in his next FA. Maybe then he'll take down Kobe's 81?

You better hope that his fractured kneecap doesn't become a chronic problem.

I doubt Irving jumps to the Lakers. Maybe to the Mavs. :D

He's probably already or soon to pass his missed number of playoffs games.

Please don't start with the Wade vs Kyrie again.
It's embarrassing for you.

 Kyrie be like "Anywhere but Cleveland" :bolt:

Seriously though, for some reason I've never been able to figure out, the Mavs just can't seem to get big time FA's. Great owner who spoils his players, great fan base, great city, top notch facilities. Just can't understand what the issue is.

I agree with this. I never said he's never done anything questionable. I just said the guy isn't dirty.

So why not throw Perk, Marion, Harris or Miller out there to kill maybe 20 more minutes.
Jesus, if they can't use them now, why are they even allowed on the team plane?

How's he out?
You know someone else looking to pay him 10M/yr?

So you can't give me any real reason to think Delly is dirty except for you saying so...
You've been given several reasons, even from sources outside of SH, but shoot them down and refuse to consider any of them valid. What else would you like?
