We will see about that lol

Yes, we will and I'm excited!

This series has so many subplots.

The Team that traded for Love vs. the Team that didn't.

The Current MVP vs. The best player for the last 7-8 years.

Both Kerr and Blatt backing out of Coaching opportunities to sign with their current clubs.

Blatt agreeing to be an Assistant with the Warriors, changing his mind, and Kerr alowing him to sign with the Cavs, no hard feelings.

Both Teams are capable to putting up huge offensive number.

But, funny enough, I think the Team that comes with the best defense will win.

Can't wait.

I will give you Barnes but if he gets to the hoop there is nothing anyone can do. Iggy cant guard Lebron, even in his younger days Lebron just thrives against him.

Obviously Iggy has the size to give Bron problems though

Lebron's a great player, but damn. You make it seem like Lebron could have the runs and still get 40 a night. In Lebron's Heat days, I always got nervous everytime Iggy guarded him. He's everything you want in an all-around defender. You should probably take off your homer glasses on this debate.

Welp. That settles it. The Warriors are winning. I don't think there has ever been a successful premature tattoo

Jason Terry's 2011 tat. But we won't get into that. Time to move on.

Ham, How do Warrior fans feel about Shaw replacing Gentry?

I'm glad for Brian.

He probably won't get another Head Coaching opportunity anytime soon.

Marc J. Spears: Brian Shaw is an Oakland native who attended Warriors practice today. The Shaw family also moved back to their Oakland Hills home today, tooTwitter @SpearsNBAYahoo

I guess I wouldn't mind it. I just hope we don't change the offensive sets we already have. Would like to see them runs these sets again next year

On the Lebron/Iggy argument.

There is no stopping Lebron anymore that there was/is stopping Magic, Bird, Kareem, MJ, Kobe, Durant, Westbrook or any other great player. The only thing that stops guys like that is them having an off game or sitting out.

There is, however, slowing them down, making them inefficient and/or taking their teammates out of the equation so they have to try to win the game singlehandedly.

You can do it by giving them multiple looks on defense. While Iggy may get the bulk of the minutes covering Lebron, I'd expect that he'll also see Barnes, Thompson, maybe even Curry for a possession or 2 here and there, etc. Heck, Kerr may even take Lee out of mothballs and throw him at Lebron some.

The idea will be to make him a little uncomfortable, give him different things to think about and react to, not allow him to get to his spots as easily and force the Cavs to start their offense a little later in the clock and/or have other players starting the offensive sets.

Lebron will put up very good to great numbers. The question will be how hard he has to work to get them.

If the Warriors are smart then they will use the formula that the Spurs used to contain Lebron. Limit his looks and make him hit the jump shot. The Spurs utilized a team concept type of defense on Bron and forced him to beat them with his 3rd and 4th best weapon in his game.

It also helped that the Spurs had Kawhi Leonard on him.

I envision the Warriors throwing a combination of Barnes, Iggy, Klay, and Draymon on him. Bogut's rim protection is going to be vital. If he gets into early foul trouble then Lebron will probably have his way. Defense will have to collapse on him and he has an array of shooters to kick out to.

I said he did good. If you think 25 and shooting 47% is good against him.

That's where the Warriors have a big edge. They have a lot of guys that are solid defensively who play at SF naturally. You aren't going to stop him because he's the best player of his generation (Kobe's really close, can't stand the guy but can't question his skills and he is a bit older than LeBron) but if they can get him into that iso-game where he holds the ball for the bulk of the shot clock then Cleveland's going to have problems. Just defend tough 1 on 1 early and trap late so someone else doesn't have many options.

Is the Finals over yet? Who won?

Yes. The Lakers. They beat the Cavs in 4 straight. Lebron was so embarrassed about getting destroyed by 36 year old Kobe that he retired and took a job as Kobe's personal assistant.

Wiggy and Shane became "Kobe kids" at halftime of game 2 and swear they've been Lakers fans their whole lives.

Reports on whether or not Kobe actually calls Lebron "bitch" are unsubstantiated at this time. :heh:
