It was a combination of everybody not just green. Iggy IMO is the best option just cause he's quick and strong enough to guard lebron

:suspicious:

Lebron has 50 lbs on Iggy. I don't know if strength is a good argument for that.

Iggy is like 215 lebron is 245-250 lol. Just cause someone weights more than you doesn't mean they're stronger than you, just saying

Even 35 lbs is an immense amount when it's basically all muscle. You can't expect anyone to take you serious if you think Iggy is even remotely as strong as Lebron. There's a reason Lebron is able to play PF if he wants to.

Lebron is not in the best shape you can be I've seen bodybuilders at his size have more muscle. But I'm not saying iggy is as strong as lebron all I'm saying is that just cause someone is bigger than you doesn'tequal bg stronger is all my argument was lol

Iggy doesn't need to be stronger or even as strong as Lebron. He just needs to be strong enough to bump him off his spots a little and get him moving east/west more than north/south.

With Lebron's size, strength and athleticisn, when he's driving to the basket, he's at his best because it opens up all of the Cavs offensive options. But when he's forced to move side to side, it slows him down and makes the Cavs offense stagnant and predictable.

In this case, it does.

Iggy can't check Lebron.

The Warriors better come with Draymond or Bron will go HAM.

Nobody on that roster can stop him. Luckily for the Warriors, nobody that has ever worn a Cavs uni can check Curry.

I'm sorry this is BS. You think the only players able to guard Lebron must be the same size as him? Wow

Barnes and Iggy can guard Lebron

Just for the record Lebron struggled in quite a few games against Chicago with Jimmy Butler guarding him. He is 6'7 220 lbs

Trying to slow down LeBron might be the game's most arduous task, but Golden State does have a few advantages heading into the Finals. The quality and quantity of their wing defenders is superior to anyone Cleveland has faced in this postseason. More importantly, they have an easy blueprint to follow in attempting to contain him. James is just 12-of-68 from three-point range this postseason (17.6%) and Golden State happens to have one of the best rim protectors in the league in Andrew Bogut. The Warriors could follow in the footsteps of other James opponents and dare LeBron to shoot from deep while stacking the paint to discourage drives. If that's the strategy they deploy, Iguodala could be Golden State's best bet atop the key. The veteran has the length and the speed to keep up with James on the perimeter and has enough strength to initially slow James down on drives. Golden State's goal is to keep LeBron shooting jumpers and make him beat the Warriors with his accuracy, not power.

something about hatching eggs and counting comes to mind...

Yeah, I saw this and all I could think about was...Jinx!

If that doesn't work, The NbA will just keep Klay out the whole series to ensure the King's accension to the throne...lol

The mayors of Oakland and San Francisco have spoken and they've decided that the parade will be held in Oak-town if the Golden State Warriors win the NBA Championship. ABC 7 News

I read the same SI Article.

Seems the Sports Writers ave as divided as we are on this issue.

Some say Iggy, while others say Draymond and even Bogut..lol

Which Warrior is best-suited to guard LeBron?

Golden State used Green, Andre Iguodala, Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson against LeBron James during his one appearance against the Warriors this season, a 110-99 Cavaliers victory back in February. How did that pack of defenders do? Well, James got loose for a season-high 42 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, finding success anywhere and everywhere. (Seriously, his shot chart from the game was entirely green, with 5/6 shooting in the basket area, 3/4 shooting in the paint, 3/6 shooting from midrange and 4/9 shooting from deep.)

Michael Rosenberg: Draymond Green
He has the strength and intelligence to at least give himself a fighting chance when James posts up, and if that forces James to play a bit more on the perimeter, that's good for Golden State. But what I really love about Golden State in this series is that the Warriors have so many good options. Green can start on James. Andre Iguodala can handle him for stretches. So can Klay Thompson. Golden State should be able to put an excellent defender on James for every minute of the series—and none of them can stop LeBron, but maybe they can keep him from dominating.

Point is Iggy isn't too small/strong to guard Lebron. He and Barnes are the best options to guard Lebron on the perimeter. If Lebron is playing down low a lot, I would prefer Green because that is really the only time where strength becomes a real issue is when Lebron is posting up. Out on the perimeter it is more about foot movement and speed

Um..where did I say that?

I said Lebron was stronger and that Iggy can't guard him.

I will patiently await you quoting the post where I indicated the two were mutually exclusive.
