In that order.

#1 pick, a .500 season and beating your division rival in their house.

Is that too much to ask for today, or is it wishful thinking?:noidea:

I really think the Rams are better off with the 2nd pick as dumb as that sounds. if we are picking #1 other teams know we are not going to take a QB so why trade with us? they could force the Rams to pick and they would probably have to take Matthews or Clowney at #1. but if Houston takes a QB with the #1 pick then i think its more likely for teams to want to trade up to #2 to get the next best QB or Clowney. am i crazy for thinking this? lol. just like last year KC was forced to take Fischer they wanted to trade back, and then Miami trades up to #2 to get the guy they want.

And go Lions, Jets, Steelers! If they win and the Rams would lose we would go from #15 to #12 which is huge.

I'm watching both games, it would be cool to own the 1st pick.

Well if we have the first pick, teams know we might not be drafting a player they need... but Houston and Jacksonville need everything, wouldn't be surprised to see a team jump up and steal someone (especially with new cap rules) i.e. the Raiders to grab the QB of their choice, even the Falcons to jump up and grab the defensive player of their dreams to sure up their roster (we all know they should compete next seasons in they don't get hit with injuries). And if we can grab another first round pick for next season and still draft twice this 1st round and probably still get the player that fits us the most, I call that a very good idea.

Go Texans, Go Gmen, Go Rams!

#2 kids. Let the bidding begin.

It still worth a decent amount, we wont be able to get as much as we did last time we traded number #2, but I'd love to steal another first round pick.

^ though Cleveland has two first round picks I think... 4 & 24

They might be looking QB, and want to move up over Jacksonville (I can see a bunch of QBs going off the board right away... Texans, Jags, Browns, Raiders, Bucs (not really) Vikings all of who could be looking QB in the top 10

hopefully that will be the case with the teams needing QB's. imagine if we trade back to 3 for a 2nd rd pick then someone else wants to trade up to 3….. and so on

Well guys, we only got 1 out of 3.

I guess it could've been worse. We could've missed all 3.

Nice to know we traded away a #2 pick only to get it back 2 years later.

Let's hope we can find a trade partner again (Cleveland, Atlanta come to mind ) and keep these picks rolling in. The haul won't be the same as the RG3 trade, but if Bridgewater does come out and Houston happens to take Clowney instead, we could get a decent package from a team wanting to move ahead of Jax.

A package for Clowney won't bring the same in return. We can hope another QB shines and get a team to jump Jax for that QB ( but that may be asking for too much ).

who do you want Angel??
Anyone in particular?
I like the LB Barr, but we do need a #1 wr as well.
It would be cool to pick Barr then trade back up to get Watkins or Evans. But I know that probably wont happen.

If Bridgewater comes out, I'd expect Houston to trade out of the #1 spot, since presumably they don't need a QB. They could make quite a haul just like we did for RG3.

More likely they trade Schaub and take a QB. Keenum didn't show much in his extended trial. That team has a lot of the needed pieces, but just collapsed this year. Bring in a strong-willed coach and fix the QB problem and they could be right back in the playoffs.

I'm eager to see the Fiesta Bowl, as I haven't seen Blake Bortles at all yet. He could be that QB that jumps into the discussion at #2 (or Marriota, if he reverses field and declares after his bowl game).
