Another loss and the Rams fall below .500 for the second time in the season. In 5 years under McVay, the Rams have never fallen BELOW .500. Now this offense is so bad that it has become highly predictable and incredibly predictable that defenses no longer fear it. There is a lot of blame to go around on offense and Special Teams as they have joined the offense in just screwing things-up. The defense is playing better but this team right now is just plain bad. The Rams should get a win in this game because the Panthers are worse than Rams but we shall see.

Mayfield is going to be out for a couple of weeks, so PJ Walker is starting for the Panthers.

You know the team is bad when the Bears have scored more points than the Rams.

The Rams scored as many points in 2 1/2 games last year as they have in 5 games this year.

Skura goes onto the 53-active roster and Funk gets waived, finally. Another wasted pick by McShit-fer-Brains. Funk has done nothing except play on STs. Now, does that mean Skura is going to play in place of Edwards this week?? Well if history has anything to say about it, IDK. But Edwards has gone on to the IR (short-term), There is a rumor around that is beginning to state that Edwards' career might be done because he has played with one too many concussions over the years.

So we may see an O-line this week of L-R: Noteboom, Skura (Aboushi), Kolone, Jackson, Havenstein. That would be an improvement!!

Here's an article indicating that Skura will be moved to Center and that Noteboom may be relegated back to back-up or the Jumbo set. This is where the Rams may go with Pircher, the rookie Arcuri at LT, or bring-in another veteran player. I suggested they poach Darryl Williams from the Jaguars PS. He would def be the guy to play in that position.

The article included a clear demonstration of just how bad Noteboom has been this year.

Outside of the obvious, here is a list of the available veteran OTs the Rams could reasonably sign with not too big a hit on their fragile salary cap. Daryl Williams from Buffalo is different than the Darryl Williams I have been suggesting from Jacksonville. Fisher and Remmers would be the quickest-fixes for the Rams at LT.

Offensive line

The top end of the offensive line group this year is loaded with talent. Most of the big names have already signed, but there are some remaining free agents that could make an impact on new teams.

1) Eric Fisher, Indianapolis Colts
2) Daryl Williams, Buffalo Bills
3) Bobby Massie, Denver Broncos
4) Brandon Shell, Seattle Seahawks
5) Tyrell Crosby, Detroit Lions
6) Mike Remmers, Kansas City Chiefs

Here are the cold-hard facts about the rams offense. A lot of problems here. BTW, the McSneadShit-fer-Brains had better find a way to sign OBJ which I am not so sure they can, or they will lose him to the Bills, Geeants, or Packers.

And now the wheels are about to be rolling down the road after they have come off. McShit-fer-Brains is now shifting the onus of improvement to the players and there may be some truth to this but the real problem is the big white elephant in the room. He simply refuses to acknowledge his approach. This may change but I suspect this may be the beginning of the end for McShit-fer-Brains as the HC of the Rams.

Unfortunately Retro, what makes complete sense to us and others, McVay doesn’t consider.

He marches to his own beat, and just like Martz, will never change.

The closest he came was with Staley, but the. He reverted back to his old self.

The beginning of the end? Now the Rams and McShit-fer-Brains are going to be forced to get the running game going if Kupp can't play on Sunday.

I was looking at the CBS Sports website and they did the top 10 guys on practice squads and wonder if we should go after this guy:

Netane Muti, OL, Broncos

Muti was my No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the 2020 class. Mind you, it was not a stellar draft at those positions, but the effortless people-moving capabilities and balance in pass pro and for the run game appealed to me with Muti more so than anyone else playing guard or center. He went in the sixth round and has battled injuries early in his career. However, last season, the former Fresno State stud got an opportunity and shined in his final two starts, allowing one pressure on 61 pass-blocking snaps. Muti's been twice called up by the Broncos but has yet to take the field in 2022. He deserves a chance.

The other under-the-radar dude we should def look at is on the Jaguars PS. Darryl Williams. 6'6, 330lbs. Plays Center and OT.

Akers out for Sundays game. "personal reasons" I bet he and McVay got into it and Akers is gone.
