Why the hell are we not utilizing TH’s best asset? His mobility. Get him out in space and let him have the option to pass or run. At the very least, they can’t just bring the house on defense, they have to stay honest.

With Grap's broken foot, we now have a chance in the 49ers game. Still have a shot at 10 wins. This tie threw a wrench in my plans I figured a sweep against the Giants and a win against Cle to get to10. You gotta give the nod to Seattle winning the division now. We control our destiny. It will be interesting if RR makes a QB change over the bye weekend.

I haven't said this because I didn't want to come across as hyperbolic or jinx it, but here goes. With a healthy St. Juste and a dialed in Chase Young, this is a Superbowl worthy defense.

I am not saying the Skins are a Superbowl team. The offensive line is a mess, but if Heinicke can pick up his play, or Scott and Ron can trust him more, the only team I don't think we can beat is Dallas. They would just blitz us to death.

Now if someone can knock off Dallas for us who knows.

I've run the playoff machine and there are scenarios where we are the 6th seed playing at Seattle because the Seahawks ran down SF due to the Grap injury. I like that for us with an offense that is capable of scoring three touchdowns.

Real to me means not just happy to be there. Real to me means we enter the playoffs as the team nobody want to play because the defense is lights out and Wentz is throwing for 300 and the deep ball is back which is opening up the run even more.

This IS a terrible take.

TH got the ball into the hands of his playmakers and TM and JD made plays.

What is he supposed to do? Not get the ball to TM? Dotsonw as open, TH hit him, then the qb’s job is done.

The Commanders need a qb, true, but they need olinemen too, and well coached teams play to their strengths and disguise or compensate for their weaknesses.

Newsflash: EVERYBODY KNOWS that TH cant throw deep. It’s up to scott turner to compensate for that. An entire offensive concept was built and won multiple super bowls on not throwing deep too often - The West Coast Offense.

The commanders have the wr’s to make that offense lethal. They also have a wb with elite escapability. So hybrid that shit up, Scott Turner!!

If you mean interesting in an asinine kinda way I agree. The potential benefits that Wentz offers at QB. Don't outweigh the pitfalls that Wentz offers at QB. Taylor wasn't the reason the Skins didn't win. I do in one sense understand the play-calling at the end of regulatioin and in OT. But playing not to lose more often than not plays into losing.

I don't agree. TH is most effective when he has 20 something pass attempts. 41 is too much, it allowed the Giants to pass rush hard. It looked like the first 6 games of the year. This team run blocks fairly well and not so much at pass blocking.

The game dictated many of the passes. We took far too many penalties on offense and the OL literally did not block a guy on a couple of plays.

Very frustrating game. Refs did us no favors. Jerry and Mara have the refs in their back pockets.

I was disappointed Ron didn't throw the ball on 3rd down on the last drive in overtime. If you'd rather play for the tie because you can't trust your QB to not do something really stupid than what are we really doing as a team? Why even try for the playoffs?

JDR did want he could. Missed BSJ today, but the defense was good enough to win.

I'm about one bad loss away from calling for Wentz. I love the kid. He's a gamer. The last drive in the 4th quarter was spectacular and clutch. He just misses so much. Doesn't see the field. Should have had a pick six today. There were plays that I said to myself, "that's a sack if Wentz is in there."

You don’t think Wentz misses more? YPA favors TH by nearly half a yard and they have the same completion percentage. People claim defenses should have had pick 6s all the time. They even out.

You are correct on the Wentz sack comment. There would have been at least ten sacks had Wentz been QB.

We have two choices. One, go to Wentz, open up the passing game, take bad sacks, risk losing the locker room, but have a real chance to do something real this year.

Why would you think Wentz gives us a chance to do something real? Did we beat some team I am unaware of with Wentz?

Two, stick with Heinicke and hope the defense can hold everyone to 17 points or less. For the most part, that's been working.

TH is still averaging more points than CW.

Robinson continues to move the pile and almost broke a couple.

Can we buy a break up front? Cosmi was looking real good at guard and then he and Larsen go down just as we get Wes back.

Cole Turner hasn't really given us anything this year. He just doesn't seem ready for primetime.

So glad to see Dotson get back into the mix.

I think there was an effort to get him involved. That was an amazing TD.

Allen and Payne were and are great. I think they are gonna franchise Payne. Sweat has to be more disciplined. It looked like he lost some reps after that. Could be wrong. If he did, I support JDR. Too late in the season to start that nonsense again.

Holmes really struggled and I thought Curl did as well.

Big miss by Slye, but he's way down the list as to why we didn't win this game. The roughing call on ST was so stupid. In a tight game you just don't do anything dumb on ST that could cost your team.

Wentz needs to be in uniform next week in case something happens to TH. No way Ron would disrespect Heinicke and pull him mid-game. Imo Heinicke deserves better than that. Wentz should be getting reps in practice though.

I hope Wentz stays in the locker room. If we need to go to another QB, go to Howell. He literally can’t be worse than Wentz.

The 49ers were the only team in the NFC that I thought all things equal we have no shot of beating. They just lost Jimmy G for the season and are on QB3.

Beat Philly in Philly already. Went toe to toe with the Vikings. Dallas is good.

Point is the NFC is wide open and we have our best corner and Chase coming back. Have a week to rest up.

Skins, Giants, and Lions are fighting for one spot. Let's go get it.
