I remember trying to convince myself that average star ranking mattered in the height of our dark era. I was lying to myself.
ND is last in their conference.
In any scenario? Except for the average on 247...Don't have to use my own. Their ratings show in any scenario that tOSU has the 3rd best class in the B1G.
YesIt does mean something because it's also combined with other factors that are equally as impressive.
If a team signs a single five star and no other players; they sign a class of 1. Would their average player ranking matter?
Thats due to the big bags of money. The Auburn players sold out the kid who flipped to GA for money. As expected. But that's like bragging about out recruiting UCF.
Nope, UF is like 5th in conference. The SEC cleaned up.
So what you're saying is that Michigan should kick the other 24 players out of our class, despite needing them to fill roster spots, so we can end with a higher recruit ranking average.....that's dumb.
Actually it was. You said we couldn't fill open spots. We don't have open spots. We currently have 1 open spot, but not spots. Also, you have no insight as to what Day's plan was. Do you think he was worried about going out with 1 month until the 2nd signing day to try and grab some 3* fillers, or do you think he maybe had better things to do?So you're suggesting that in the middle of a coaching transition, OSU doesn't plan on having a single player leave from now until Fall? Ok, lol. You're currently sitting below the scholarship limit, so nothing I've said is wrong.

No Michigan is a basketball school they should stop getting so upset about the whoopins in football. So what you're saying is that Michigan should kick the other 24 players out of our class, despite needing them to fill roster spots, so we can end with a higher recruit ranking average.....that's dumb.
UFC is #1 in their conference though. And they UCFlipped the ND starting QB. Meanwhile, ND is last in their conference.Notre Dame were 14th Nationally I believe. Your comment about them being last in their conference was the only reason I brought up the other Independents but they would have been 8th in the SEC, 3rd in the Big 10 and Big 12, 2nd in the ACC and Pac12 so not too bad.
Hey look at that. You picked up a 3 star to fill the class. Your average player ranking is now just slightly above Michigan and still ranked well outside the top 10. Sorry about your 3rd best class in the B10. Now that Urban is gone you’re going to have to deal with finishing behind us and PSU for a while.Actually it was. You said we couldn't fill open spots. We don't have open spots. We currently have 1 open spot, but not spots. Also, you have no insight as to what Day's plan was. LOL at you, so desperate.
You keep saying this without acknowledging the fact that OSU literally couldn't fill the open spots it had in this class. I'll take a 3 star kid over an empty scholarship spot, likely handed out to a walk-on this year, any day.
And if you compare our top 16 players to OSU's 16 players, our class still ranks higher.
