You keep saying this without acknowledging the fact that OSU literally couldn't fill the open spots it had in this class. I'll take a 3 star kid over an empty scholarship spot, likely handed out to a walk-on this year, any day.

And if you compare our top 16 players to OSU's 16 players, our class still ranks higher.
They didn't have any open spots, dumbass. They're at their max. Where are you getting this crap about us not being able to full open spots?

Just because you have a high average by signing fewer players it doesn't mean you got a better quality class. If you cut Michigan and PSU's classes down to the same size as tOSU's they still have equal or better quality.

tOSU's class- 3 5* 9 4* 4 3*

Cutting the other 2 classes down to 16

Michigan 2 5* 14 4*
PSU 1 5* 15 4*

See what happened there ? If Michigan and PSU were just rated off their Top 16 players they would have a higher rating than tOSU.
So you are trying to say you know better than 247. :dhd:

Uh that is using 247's composite ratings. That means they are saying that is the case if you cut the classes down to the same size. tOSU fans are the ones saying because they signed less they have more quality in the class. It isn't true in this comparison. Michigan and Penn State have more quality this year.

What do you mean? 247 has both PSU and UM ranked higher. If you use the 247 class calculator and rank all 3 teams' top 16 players, OSU still comes in 3rd.

Why cherry pick? Why not use the entire class? Trying for another "moral" victory?

I'm confused about your angle here. Both PSU and Mich have a higher class ranking than OSU.

Or are you trying to suggest that by your average player ranking, yours is the best? If you factor in that OSU failed to fill their roster spots, that 0 star player they didn't sign would drop their ranking below both teams.

Whether you use the entire class or the Top 16 tOSU comes in 3rd. That is the point...

Just so we're clear, what do you think this grid shows?
That grid shows OSU with 84/85 scholarship spots filled. Meaning; if no other attrition occurs, OSU is 1 player short. Most likely (like any team) more attrition will happen prior to Fall; which is why teams are allowed to take 3-5 more players than they currently have spots for.

As most of you know, I know that recruiting rankings are just as much bullshit as preseason rankings and polls are. But it's good to see UCFs Domination continue. #1 in the AAC. #AACPow6r

LOL and we're poised to add #85 within the hour, meaning we'd be sitting at 85. Hilarious the things you throw against the wall to try and make stick.

That 0 star for the Buckeyes will still do better than a 5 start at MI.

And yes higher average is what matters.

The point is 247 is doing the grading and on 247 I see a higher average. If you know better than 247 start your own rating site.

There's a real reason average player ranking isn't used to calculate class rankings. It's only used when your class fails in one of the other measures that matter.

Yes yes that 94.38 and 93.32 for Bama and Ga means nothing they will be horrible with that rating.

So you're suggesting that in the middle of a coaching transition, OSU doesn't plan on having a single player leave from now until Fall? Ok, lol. You're currently sitting below the scholarship limit, so nothing I've said is wrong.

Don't have to use my own. Their ratings show in any scenario that tOSU has the 3rd best class in the B1G.

It does mean something because it's also combined with other factors that are equally as impressive.

If a team signs a single five star and no other players; they sign a class of 1. Would their average player ranking matter?
