While last year he had a top 5 defense. The guy didn't forget how to coach.Jack's played a lot of football, coached it too. His defense looks like total crap! I can no longer give his crap a pass. Zone/man, it doesn't f'n matter, results matter and given the talent, he is failing.
Career backup for a reason. He isn't awful....he is a better game manager than Jones and doesn't turn the ball over like him.
Exactly! So what's the damn problem because every year we have this discussion. Same players as years before. While last year he had a top 5 defense. The guy didn't forget how to coach.
because some of our defenders are seeking glory and not playing the defense as designedExactly! So what's the damn problem because every year we have this discussion. Same players as years before.
Or, its time for Jack & Co to go...because some of our defenders are seeking glory and not playing the defense as designed
I'm not surprised.. Not even a little bit. That said. Good grief.
hype is in overdrive
They were being 8 up in zone as well. Had Ridder not panicked n threw up a beach ball to St Juste. Or if Robinson runs a go route or had Ridder been a second or so more patient giving Robinson a chance to separate. Things might not be so rosy for the Skins today.I think you if you d played football and if you do you know zone is meant to make you go downfield a little at a time banking on you screwing up at some point. Explosives kill you. Why were we playing so much man before Sunday?

Interesting observation about the interior OL.5 disappointments from the Commanders triumph at Falcons in Week 6
What disappointments emerged from the Washington Commanders' grind-it-out victory at the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6?riggosrag.com
Brown’s came on the first drive of the game and it was a difficult catch in part because one of his arms was being held. But this is the second straight week he has been unable to make a big play when it was there for him.
Dotson’s was more egregious. It was an outright drop on a play that may have resulted in a touchdown. Though he did draw a holding call later, Dotson was invisible for most of the game.
This appears to be causing Sam Howell to become overly reliant on McLaurin.
The Commanders have Saahdiq Charles, Nick Gates, and Sam Cosmi playing the interior of the offensive line. It’s not as if they have been terrible. But power blocking simply is not their strength.
They are three men who all played tackle in college. Charles is the shortest at 6-foot-4. They are tall linemen who move well. None is a particularly good mauler in the trenches and that is showing up on running plays.
The trio gets virtually no push. They rarely get to the second level. The middle is generally closed to Commanders' ball carriers.
The Commanders keep making opponents look so much better than they actually are.
I believe I said that in in post game 400 yards to 193 yards. Thank you.I'm not surprised.. Not even a little bit. That said. Good grief.

The INTs were huge on that I'm not even tryin to front. The defense didn't make Ridder look like a top tier QB like they did Fields. But imo they made Ridder look better than he actually is.
I'm not sure what ATL HC was thinking with this game plan. His offense should be built around Bijon, 2 TE sets and ball control. Just no real identity, kind of like us. My take is don't put your young QB in position to lose the game for you. Authur did just that.I'm not surprised.. Not even a little bit. That said. Good grief.
