Commanders at NY Giants early odds for Week 7​

The Washington Commanders demonstrated their fighting qualities to get one over on the Atlanta Falcons. It wasn't perfect - not by any stretch of the imagination - but they found a way to see things out and emerge victorious.


This boosts confidence heading into their next NFC East divisional matchup with the New York Giants. According to the latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook, the Commanders are 1.5-point favorites on the road at MetLife Stadium. This is available at -110 depending on which side of the spread takes your fancy (bet $110 to win $100).

Anyone wishing to wager Washington on the money line can do so with odds of -122 (bet $122 to win $100). New York is the slight underdog on home soil after an indifferent opening to the campaign at +102 (bet $100 to win $102).

FanDuel Sportsbook has set the over/under at 40.5 points.

That might be a benefit to the Skins. Jones is 5-1-1 against the Skins. And for whatever reason Skins coaches seem to have their heads up their asses when they play the Giants. Last year for instance in the tie game. Jones ran for 71 yards on 12 carries picking up 6 first downs. JDR seemed shocked by that even though running has always been a part of Jones game. In the rematch JDR had the Skins lay off the pass rush to protect against Jones running which worked for most of the game. Except when the Giants drove 97 yards in 18 plays taking up 81/2 minutes scoring a TD which included Jones converting a 3rd n 9 with a 10 yd pass n a 4th n 9 with an 11 yard pass.

And after the way Taylor supposedly fucked up just before halftime at the Bills 1 yd line. If he plays he'll be looking to redeem himself as well.

Anyone underestimating the giants is being foolish . They always give us fits and they played the bills way way tougher then we did with less people

Maybe Dotson is banged up. I still think he'll be alright. He didn't lose the attributes, great hands, great route running, big play ability, that's he had coming out of Penn St and last year with the Skins. Maybe its taking longer for him n Howell to get in tune with one another. It happens

Can't say I feel as confident about Forbes. If he's not hurt him not playing a down yesterday is concerning. Making him the team's #1 CB w/o having to reallhy earn it might have been a little extreme, but not playing him at all would be more extreme imo. Or maybe dad, Country and others were on point that he was a bad pick. Time will tell.

Could've, maybe even should've, went to St Juste. Considering the bull shit they call roughing the passer or personal foul hits on an unprotected player. No one should be surprised that went to the offensive player. I listen to these talking heads in both college n the pros talk about wanting high scoring games. Or watch how the new rule changes continue to penalize defense n defensive players and I think the powers that be to a significant extent want to phase out defense. Or the least want every defense to be Big 12 or Pac 12 level which is below average at its very best..

I was against the pick when it was made and said that.

I thought they should have gone corner in free agency instead.

I hope he works out still and it's very early of course. Lots of time for development and growth. Not good though.
