Exactly…and it is up to the GM, scouting department, and coach to make that happen. If the player does not produce, all of these should be looked at and held responsible. If one fails, Ok…when RR has missed on pretty much every pick in his tenure, he needs to be fired before he touches anything else.

missed on every pick is kind of strong. But there are more misses then hits

Correct, Rivera did draft him, but I never said Rivera is responsible for a dropped pass. Dotson has been a solid player for the most part. He didn't lose the game for us.

This is part of your game Dean. You blame everyone but Rivera. Like I said, the coach centric model makes it easy when it comes to accountability

If it is the coaches fault for not coaching or implementing the right schemes, it is on Rivera because he made those coaching decisions. Rivera must fire inept coaches and hire skilled ones.

If it is then players fault, that falls on Rivera as well as he made the decision to draft or sign them. Yes, bad plays happen, but if the player is not coachable, lacks talent, or has attitude problems, that is on Rivera.

Again, the coach centric method doesn't work. Another thing, in your world, you never really come up with solutions because you rubber stamp all of riveras decisions. You did say to cut wentz after months of arguing with everyone.

If eb is the main problem, what should be done?
If Howell is the problem, what should be done?
If the OLine is the problem, what should be done.

You literally protect and shield Rivera and that is why everybody is arguing with you.

not protecting. Again, with the hypothetical. thats the only way he stays.

Me neither. Funny how his brain functions.
I can't follow it anymore.
He needs to start a Rivera blog or something.

If Zorn or gruden had these records, he would have wanted them fired.

He wants Rivera here because he has hyped him up for 4 years. Same with wentz, it took several months but he then admitted it was a mistake.

He was still blaming the OLine and lack of run support until the Cleveland game. Then is dawned on him.

He will still protect Rivera even after he is fired.

things that make ya wonder.

who saw Parsons rush abilities at Penn State? Not Penn State, not Jerry or the head coach. Dallas traded down and picked up a 3rd to draft Parsons.

you guys need one of these football kinda guys in the room

Why are we talking about hypothetical?

The fact that you cannot say you want him to stay or go speaks volumes. Why would one have to wait until week 17 when you have almost 4 years of data is insane.

You come up with hypotheticals because you know it's probably not going to happen. You come up with unlikely scenerios because it is the only way to fit your agenda of keeping Rivera in power.

Did you predict a win or loss yesterday?
How do you see the final 10 games playing out honestly?

I didn't say that
..but at the end of the day...you support Rivera and you know it.

Should Rivera be fired right now...yes or no?

I say yes because i do not support, trust, or believe in him.

You want to wait because you still have confidence in him. If you didn't, you would see he is not the answer. You still crave that 9 win season and you still are holding out for a single playoff win.

missed on every pick is kind of strong. But there are more misses then hits

I said pretty much every pick…

2020
1- Chase Young can’t miss on the #2 pick in the draft. I liked the pick and injuries have been a factor.
3- Gibson has been OK
4- Sadie Charles- trash
4- Golden Gandy- out of the league after his rookie season
5- Ismael- no such thing as a bust
5- Hudson- no such thing as a bust
7- Curl- huge hit. Love this guy.
7- Smith Williams- no such thing as a bust

2021
1- Davis has been a disappointment.
2- Cosmi has been a disappointment
3- St Juste has been OK
3- Brown has been horrible
4- Bates has been invisible
5- Forrest- good pick
6- Cheeseman- I lied…if you take a LS in the draft and he doesn’t last a decade, he is a bust.
7- Bradley King, Toney, Milne- no such thing as a bust

2022
1- Dotson- good rookie season with shit at QB and injuries. Invisible second year with at least three HUGE drops.
2- Mathis- horrible
3- Robinson- has been a pleasant surprise
4- Butler- has been horrible
5- Howell great pick
5- Turner I am hopeful
7- Paul- I like this guy
7- Holmes- can’t be a bust

2023
1- Forbes- has been bad but I am still hopeful. As bad as OL is, we should have gone OL.
2- Martin- horrible made worse by our OL
3- Stromberg- early
4- Daniels- early
5- Henry early
6- Rodriguez- should be starting
7- Jones- early

I had that hypothetical before the season even started. I said I think he stays if the hypothetical happens.

So what is our record over the next 10 games honestly?

To get to your prediction, we have to go 6-4.

Honestly speaking, what is our final record?
What did you have the team at heading into week 8?

i had us at 4-3. Didn't expect to lose the Bears. I had a split with the Giants this year. Of course, it's going to be very difficult to get 6 wins. no doubt. The 9 win prediction is not looking good right now. I hope we get at least 7, I took the over on the 6.5 win total.

I have 8-9

It's a week to week league, but I just don't see wins against:

SF
DAL
MIA
Jets
Seattle

I think we have good shots at:

NE
Home with Dallas
Rams
NYG
Home with Philly

If we lose this week, the season is over.

Reason for not firing him mid-season?

Too much turmoil?
You think he might be our guy still?

95% of these players need development...that is your coaching staff.
Dean wants to go in circles and deflect anything from rivera.

If the game scheme doesn't work,it's EB and JDR only.

If it's player performance, it's the players only.

If that's the case, Rivera should simply keep firing coaches and cutting players until he gets a winning team.

Dean doesn't understand that the coach centric model gives a head coach tremendous authority, but it holds them extremely accountable because it rolls up to them only.

Dean wants to blame the players and coaches, yet he refuses to admit who hired those coaches and selected those same players. It is basically everybody's fault except Rivera in his world. He still wants to give rivera the rest of the season to turn it around...smh.

He even admitted that Harris needs to hire a GM instead of going with a coach centric system again and admitted Rivera stinks as a GM...but a playoff win makes that all go away apparently.
