If Gruden is making that decision, it means he is still the HC. Which means it makes no difference. Haskins will be the permanent starter the day after gruden is fired.I listened to Gruden's post game presser. In it he stated that the reason why he replaced Keenum was because he felt that "Case wasn't healthy enough." That actually sounds as if the plan is to start a more healthy Keenum rather than Haskins. Right now I'm betting that either Case and/or Colt get the first team reps this week. In fact, if Colt is healthy, Haskins will probably be inactive at worse or unprepared to go in when/if the starter is pulled or injured.
I was for protecting the kid but now that he has played I am for letting him play the string out. I didn't want to draft a QB this year so lets see if he has the goods or not. If he does then GREAT, if not … I am not against drafting one next year.

Finlay: Dwayne Haskins should not start for Redskins if he's not ready
Play the guy if he is that mentally weak then he is a bust
My point is if he can’t recover from learning processes he is a bust period. I think he can"Not ready" has NOTHING to do with his mental toughness period! We all knew when he was drafted that he was a baller. He was/ is a film study guru and rarely makes the same mistake twice because he also learns what not to do. Getting him "ready" had everything to do with preparing him for NFL speed and being familiar with the nuances in NFL defenses. This shit isn't rocket science, we know he has the physical tools, we know that he came from a big time program that has faced the best competition the country has to offer. The NFL is a different animal, get him familiar with that animal then turn him loose. It's just not that difficult, unless there's some funky shit going on.
Depends on who thinks what is the “ right “ thing...And you know this because of what? Bad Karma doesn't just come from poorly executed X's and O's. Disorganization also comes with not recognizing everything that stinks in the company and ignoring it. People can disagree but that changes nothing but keep this in mind, failing to do the right thing, always comes back to bite you in the ass. Snyder is getting bitten in the ass and the worse thing about it is that he refuses to acknowledge it.
I just wanted to respond and won't go on with this because in truth it belongs in the now defunct "Politics Thread!"

Let's not play the depends on who game. There's ONLY one owner of this franchise and we all know that he's proud of one of the things that's contributing to the bad Karma that covers his franchise. He refuses to change it...Fuck him!
When I ventured into the sit him waters, my focus was on the QB's coach and what he might be able to do in order to get him ready for the NFL game. Of course do the mental and film work work, but include some first team reps at practice. I don't want to hear that BS about there being no time, he's the possible future, and the real time back-up QB, make the farkin' time!
Thus far we know that he's no closer to being "ready" than the day that he was drafted. It's clear to me that his physical readiness has been stunted by design, or ignorance.
So, let's say that they do draft a QB next year, what makes you believe that this or the next regime would get that kid prepared for the NFL game?
