Like I've said before, what a quandary for the haters, they have to root for the Patriots so they can type a thousand times on a message board about how Brady was never anything special.

They've certainly milked the Cassell season for all it's worth.

From what I've seen of him in the preseason he seems better than Mallett. It's hard to say if he can go through his progressions like a quality starter since he hasn't used more than 2 reads from the time I've seen him play. I think he will do okay but NE will probably need to lean on the run game a little more than they're used to.

Well, now that it pretty much seems like he will be the starter for the first 4 games he will get a lot of reps with the 1st team.. He should be fine

Like i said earlier Garoppolo was my favorite QB along with Mettenberger in the 2014 draft. Like Rock Strongo said the guy can make all the throws. Forget stupid shit like how tall a guy is or if he can do this or that bottom line is the tape never lies. I go by the good 'ol eye test. Way too many teams fall for projections and hype which is what got TN in deep shit in 2011 when they drafted Locker. In college Locker was 11-25 a loser and could barely complete half of his passes and had been to no bowl games or won any awards.

How the hell did he get projected as a first rounder???? I knew watching his tape he was shit and told everyone from the start it was a bad mistake. I also go by Parcells list of QB rules like did the guy complete at least 60% of his passes because if not he will not make it in the NFL. I tend to look at a guys win/loss record as well as his stats but bottom line watching the QB play on film is the most important part. Any way i liked what i saw out of Garoppolo a lot. I also by reading Mettenberger's scouting report and watching him could tell he could play.

Never...BB will cut bait with Brady as soon as next yr. He needs that 1st rd pick back. If Jimmy can win, bye, bye Brady. Looking forward to it to be honest. He will struggle for sure, but he should learn quick vs those tough Def in the AFCE.

Actually i do think the time is coming where Brady will be forced to go to another team. It has happened to a lot of greats Joe Montana,Brett Favre,Peyton Manning and it will to Brady especially if Garoppolo shows he has what it takes. Wouldn't doubt it at all if the wheels are already turning in Belichick's head of him thinking if Garoppolo plays well he could eventually flip Brady for some draft picks. Also Brady doesn't have many more years left as it is.
