The Iceman was amazing.

These kids now would go crazy if there was a killer in the league like the Iceman. They don't even know who he is. That finger roll was a thing of basketball beauty.

Yep...They prefer to settle up for the "Lazy J" instead of earning a bucket. Say hello to the "tre-ball".

BTW...

I scored 2 points on that "deuce" I rained down this morning.

Pull-up 18 foot jumpers that they know they can hit 45% on instead of wading into the trees and finger rolling at the rim.

Here's one guy that played bigger than he was and could back it up when needed.

I really do miss AI, he was really good takin the rwak to the box.

THEE "Iceman" was exceptionally good at his craft as well. Never did see him play in person tho.

You mean back in the day when you could only play man to man and zones and hybrid zones with multiple rotations, traps, hedges were considered "illegal defense"?

AI went to the rack hard and got drilled. Pansies now rarely do that. No brawls anymore. No LJ and Alonzo fights with Van Gundy getting dragged around like Kermit on the muppets.

AI still bankrupt? those guys blow so much money.

Yeah the late 70s-early 80s were pretty much run & gun, racehorse hoops. The Iceman was great though.
