Too bad there really isn't a place on the roster for a relatively young guy under team control who can field, and hit, and drive in runs. We need other kinds of players.

What do you predict his role will be next year?

Starting 1B for Fresno......

Love to see him on the team, he has shown some ability since his callup.

Ideally, I would love to trade Huff for a similar contract player, perhaps a CF, and split 1b with Pill and Belt. Of course, then Huff will revert to 2010 form, and I will be up in arms against myself.

It's a damn shame with Huff and Belt playing his position, but you have to think he gets traded, maybe with Chez, for a SS or CF

I heard about a month ago that the Giants were perhaps hoping to showcase his talent this Sept. for that very reason.

If that was the goal...goal achieved.
