CF Christian
2B Keppinger
RF Beltran
LF Ross
3B DeRosa
1B Pill
SS Cabrera
C Stewart
P Surkamp

Pill gets his MLB debut and Christian gets the nod at leadoff and CF. Apparently, Christian has a real shot at the job next year.

Not sure why Panda, Giraffe and Crawdad are all out of the lineup.

Very interesting lineup....No Maxi with any experience against Surkamp, and only significant experience against Whiteboy is Panda, who is hitting .182.

Fuck those guys, 4-1 Giants.

LeBlanc must be a lefty. His ERA is over 5. Why does TZill continue to mock the baseball deities by predicting we will score 4 off this guy? If 2011 has taught us anything, is that the surest way to beat the Giants is to throw your worst pitchers against us. The higher the ERA, the better their chances of a shutout.

Even with Christian (31) and Pill (27), this may be one of the oldest lineups we have fielded this year.

This seems like a "fuck it lets see what we got" lineup to me. Pill and Christian both getting shots, DeRosa playing for a contract somewhere next year. Though Boch is still playing to matchups (no Sandoval, Crawford, Belt vs. lefty).

Excited to see Christian and Pill.

Average age of the position players (less Surkamp) is 31.75, not exactly a "youth" lineup.

Exchange Crawford for OCrap brings the average down to 30.25

Exchange Chez3 for Stewart brings the average down to 29.25

Yesterday's lineup averaged 28.63 years
