Was bound to happen. They were on a 29-6 run for 35 games. They’ve lost 3 of last 4 and playing really shitty baseball.

Wheeler needs to earn his money tomorrow and be the stopper that rights the ship. First time they’ve lost on back to back days since March (I think).

This is one of the more active team boards on the message board. I like when the Phil’s have a series with you guys to talk some baseball.

I watched the rest of the game with fast forward. Some observations:

LWJ looked like a knee, not a hammy. Please let it not be a tear.
Matos, Estrada, Bailey, Ramos, Wise all with 2 hits...that'll work.
Team 3-15 with RISP...not great.
Soler 0-4, now hitting .212; it's almost June
It's getting more difficult to see how Matos and Ramos aren't going to start most games, even when Forto is back.
Wise is personally going to send Luci to Sac. Makes all the plays and is hitting .450
Snell, even with the mound shitting, seems to be slowly getting into form. 7 K, 2 BB is encouraging. He's never going to go deep into games because he can't be efficient. But I think we will get a consistent 5-6 IP from him with 2 ER or less over the second half.
RanRod is a revelation, along with Wisely.
Bullpen today: 5 IP; 2 H; 0 R; 1 BB; 1 K. In short, FYWW.

Looks like Wholestaff (Dramapantz??) v Wheeler tomorrow night, and Harry v Sanchez for the day game.

Solid win, ngl. This team can really hit.
