A thought: do we root for it to get so bad that the attendance collapses, which would get management's attention something fierce, and perhaps encourage a bigger payroll bump?

nah, need the bandwagon revenue stream to pay for Timmy and Cain

Alright, that's it, I've had enough. I thought we still had a chance when it was 6-0, but there's no way that we come back from 7 down.

Have a good evening gents, I'm going to go find a dog to kick.

I know that wasn't his fault, but can Beltran at least look like he cares? Does he like the Giants so much that he's trying to bring down his asking price for next year?

:D

Beltran irked me when he started saying that the SF fans booing him didnt phase him because of how bad fans are if you suck in NY. Just rubbed me the wrong way, like he didnt care. Granted it was probably too soon to be booing Beltran at that point, but considering our slide began immediatly when we dealt for him and he has not really delivered at all..just ticked me off a bit.

He looks like a two year, 18 million-dollar player to me. Some idiot gm will likely give him more.

And let him play right field.

I think we root for the opposite. Let's hope that the organization continues to rake in plenty of dough down the stretch, with the idea that they'll have all the more to spend this offseason.

Man, I can't wait until someone breaks down the Giants payroll, future contract obligations, etc. The end of this season is too painful; I'm ready to already move on to next year.

Wow...Jon Miller is really pouring it on.

"Randy Wells has never thrown a 2 hit shut out. Randy Wells has never thrown a complete game. Not in the majors...and not in the minors..maybe in little league somewhere"

and then he met the Giants

Or all the more to pocket. "Hey, we pack em in even when we suck, like the Cubs do...let's re-sign Torres and Ross!"

His whole attitude since coming over has been cancerous. What turned me off to him was his "I will not swing right handed only. I am a switch hitter. It is who I am." The team was in a nose dive, and he was UNWILLING to play at 85%.

Sorry, Guillen. you are dead to me.

A new low point for the Giants offense. And THAT'S saying something.

Guys, the Giants had no chance going into this game. Wells simply had the best game of his career. You just have to acknowledge the other guy...

If there was a way to score -1 runs, the Giants would figure it out.
