First time since June Freaking 14 that the Giants have won the opening game in a series. They had lost the opening game in a series seven straight times.

They are 3-13 in the last 16 series in the opening game.

Dude, that's exactly how they won the 2012 WS. After being down two games to the Reds, I didn't watch another game, nor listen, nor post. Worked like a charm. I tried that in the last two months for a couple of stretches. New year, old magic,
