Which, to his incremental credit, I saw he hit 86mph on a "fastball" in the 4th to Ellis, according to MLB.com. I had not seen that before from him.

He hit 86 also on the first pitch to Loney.

I'd suspect Bochy already told Belt what to expect in this series. I hear he does that specifically for the point you mention. Plus, I hate to think what a second straight o'fer would do to his confidence.

So those ads they keep running on TV (and radio) to sell you a Matt Cain 'perfect game' bat, limited to 2012 of them for $100...I don't get the economics:

You get max $200K, then the cost of making the bats, the constant ads, labor, etc. Is that a money maker?
