Havlat was demoted to the 4th line last game. Clowe has been a no show for every game except one this season. Maybe McLellan will actually sack up and bench one of the top six guys.
Marleau (knee) and Handzus (foot) were both having issues walking after yesterday's game. One of them might not be healthy enough to go.
Galiardi and Havlat look good together. Now if McLellan can pull his head out and stick a thrid person on that line that has a lick of offensive ability they might have something.
ho hum... another 0-6 on the PP. Another disappearing show from the big two. Another lucky to get a point, so that masks how much they stunk.
8 straight without a regulation win. 6 straight losses. 1 game out of 14 in which a bottom 6 forward scored. 8 straight with 3 goals or less. 2nd shutout again in the last 3 games.... When does Dougie decide to throw in the towel and begin to salvage the near future of the team by getting young picks and prospects for the aging losers up and down the roster?
All of these loser points may really screw our draft position this year. If you are going to suck this season, at least do it right and lose in regulation!
First game I watched this year was the Edmonton game at home. I was going to boycott it, but got sucked in (like a fool) after the good start. In all those games I watched, I think I saw only one decent outburst of offensive hockey in that time, i.e. the 1st period against the Blackhawks. Other than that, pure rubbish. I didn't watch yesterdays game or todays except for the last 8 minutes and OT. Better off going back to boycotting this mess. It is just flat out not entertaining to watch. Perfect for the insomniac.
