my guess is Anderson is a spread guy. He was a spread guy at Utah State and went to Wisconsin and adjusted accordingly to what they had there. But he was recruiting for the spread. I dont think Wisconsin wanted that.

My guess going forward Wisconsin will hire Tuberville, Holliday or the guy at NIU.

OK...these thoughts have merit, good points Oly...I know nothing about Gary, other than the last time he visited Corvallis.

Something has to be going on in that athletics department. Why in the fuck would 2 straight coaches leave to take wayy shittier jobs in there wasnt some weird ass shit going down in Madison??

Because the b1g with exception of Ohio is dying a slow death.

I talked about this earlier.

Coaches want to coach out west and down south.

Why would he go to Wisky? Are they going to pay him a lot more than TCU? TCU has been a better program than Wisky the last few years and even beat them in a bowl game. If Patterson leaves for somewhere else it will be to a better program, not a lateral move.
Wisconsin would be an upgrade in my opinion even though I want him to stay at TCU.

Can you blame them? I can't.

My guess is that he wants more flexibility to do things his own way than Barry will allow.

The QB controversy this year was a sign. He's said repeatedly that he wants mobile quarterbacks. Barry's philosophy is power running with a game manager QB that can keep defenses honest. Don't think they saw eye to eye on that, and I can see Barry telling him tough shit.

They would be thinking I better win the Big 10 Championship or I'm toast.

That would make some sense if Brett Bielema or Gary Anderson had been fired. But. they weren't fired. They weren't even on the hot seat.

Therefore your post makes absolutely zero fucking sense and we're all dumber for having read it.

Actually you're the dumb fuck for thinking Gary Anderson's job was secure. Also I'd appreciate it if you would stick to the subject matter rather than taking a cheap shot at me.

In other words... STICK IT UP YOUR ASS !!

GA WILL GET all the room he requires in Corvallis, no one will make him do anything as long as his way works. We are patient as well.

This makes sense from a Beaver perspective as well. Gawd knows State needs a QB that can get out of the pocket and run when needed. Mannion was an awesome pocket passer when protected, but couldn't run 10 yards for a first down IF we needed that.

The puzzle is starting to come together now.
