Good hire for Oregon State, huge shock to wisky fans.

I mean Corvallis isn't exactly L.A. or some major destination.

HEY WAIT WHIZZER!

I have seen the inside of Benton County Jail and I must say it is a first class destination IF you drink-n-drive down there.

GARY "FRIGGIN" ANDERSON?

WERE GONNA RUN THE DAMN RWAK DOWN YER FUCKIN THROATS BITCHES!

Ok this one shocked me something isn't right in Madison (hope it is a major distraction in the bowl game also) bet Barry comes out of retirement again to coach the team in the bowl game and pay himself $300K to do it.

Other coaches are going to really think twice before taking the Wisconsin job.
They would be thinking I better win the Big 10 Championship or I'm toast.

I heard there were so many drunks in Corvallis that you get arrested for driving sober there, Wallace! :omg:

The 50 Best College Towns In America - Best College Reviews

10. Corvallis, OR

Corvallis is home to Oregon State University, a number of large employers, and beautiful views of the Cascade Range. A naturalist’s paradise, Corvallis was the nation’s #1 Green Power Community in 2009, and is ranked by Outside Magazine as one of the top 20 towns in which to live. Corvallis is known for high life-expectancy, tons of parks, and a high quality of living.

Consistently ranked as one of the smartest towns in America, Oregon State University receives more research funding than all other public higher education institutions in Oregon combined. It is also one of only two universities in the nation to be a land-grant, sea-grant, space-grant, and sun-grant institution. Complementing the town’s talent, Hewlett-Packard, CH2M Hill, and AVI BioPharma all call Corvallis home.

lol

I saw Joe Schad mention Paul Chryst from Pitt as a potential option. That seems to make sense to me.

Tressel would be a good hire for Wisconsin. He knows how to cheat.

I cannot recall this HD, to busy tappin kegs and BBQin pigs in the ground you know. Oh yeah and going to school too. One of the most beautiful falltime campuses I have ever seen, certainly here in Oregon. Leaves turning colors and a campus littered with deciduous trees.

GARY "FRIGGIN" ANDERSON?

Seems too logical not to happen. Back to the drawing board for Pitt.

Who would of thunk that Riley going to Braska would have set off a bunch of new coaching searches.

Hell yeah Consin will continue this ride heading into bowling season. How many others will fall, change jobs OR join other new staffs as new assistants.

OK...I can go get a drink now.

Whew...Let the new ride begin.

They better not hire Gary Patterson.

Why would he go to Wisky? Are they going to pay him a lot more than TCU? TCU has been a better program than Wisky the last few years and even beat them in a bowl game. If Patterson leaves for somewhere else it will be to a better program, not a lateral move.

my guess is Anderson is a spread guy. He was a spread guy at Utah State and went to Wisconsin and adjusted accordingly to what they had there. But he was recruiting for the spread. I dont think Wisconsin wanted that.

My guess going forward Wisconsin will hire Tuberville, Holliday or the guy at NIU.

Old school...Beavers wanna run the rwak-n-block!

Let's see last time we went with this philosophy was R Pettybone, but that was the wishbone then. This time smells like Roses to me.

I'm all warm-n-fuzzy inside today.
