Quinton Patton - WR - 49ers

49ers WR Quinton Patton (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 13.

Beat writer Matt Barrows guesses it "might be one more week" before Patton plays in a game. He's recovering from a broken foot suffered all the way back in Week 4. Patton's impending return is a reminder that San Francisco's pass-catching corps is finally loading up. Michael Crabtree will debut on Sunday, and Mario Manningham just now getting his legs underneath him.

Michael Crabtree - WR - 49ers

49ers coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed Friday Michael Crabtree will make his season debut Sunday against St. Louis.

Crabtree is expected to be on a strict snap count, not just because of the Achilles' injury but because he's not yet in football shape. It's hard to imagine Crabtree playing more than 20 snaps against the Rams. There is an outside chance that Crabtree could be a full-time receiver by Week 15 or so. Fantasy owners should be hoping he's a contributor by Week 16 against the Falcons.

Tarell Brown - DB - 49ers

49ers RCB Tarell Brown's rib injury included "internal damage," and he will not play in Week 13 against the Rams.

Brown had "a hard time taking deep breaths" after the injury, and didn't resume running until this past Thursday. The 49ers will turn to Tramaine Brock and Carlos Rogers as starters again. Brown's loss would be more likely to be felt by San Francisco's defense if St. Louis had a legitimate passing game.

I'm glad the team is confident, but I dont like when players "guarantee" something like a return to the SB, The Rams would love to play spoiler to our playoff chances gotta take care of them first.

Should be able to beat these guys at home barring a rash of turnovers. The Rams don't score enough.

Glazer reported this morning that he expects Crabtree to play about 60-65% of the snaps today.

It'll be interesting to see where he is as far as his recovery. I wouldn't try to do too much with him yet. I'll guess he gets one catch. They'll set up some sort of short wide receiver screen to let him get his feet wet.

To me those are more dangerous. Corner might be able to pull up very fast and reach as Crabtree tries to juke him, then corner has no choice but to grab and twist him by the ankles in order to execute the tackle.

Crab's scores a TD in his debut!! My fantasy season is shot so I said fuck it and put him in my starting lineup.

It wouldn't surprise me if he had a monster game today. Just because every report I have read throughout the week has said something to the extent of him not going to produce much and will be put on a "baseball pitcher's count" in terms of the amount of snaps he will play:

Michael Crabtree - WR - 49ers

FOX's Jay Glazer suggested Michael Crabtree (heel) will play on 60-65 percent of the snaps in Sunday's game against the Rams.

Crabtree's surgically-repaired Achilles' tendon is 100 percent healthy, but he's not quite in football shape and the Niners don't to put too much on his plate. He'll likely rotate with Mario Manningham in two-wide sets Sunday and gradually ramp up from there. Our Patrick Daugherty has ranked Crabtree as fantasy's No. 43 wideout play this week.
