What is so strange in that he played so well last year and this complete regression from stardom into ineptitude is mystifying.

Its amazing that this is a play from his 1st NFL start.

It really is incredible. I haven't seen that kind of footwork or quick progression through his reads at all this year. He really needs to get back to basics.

I'm starting him in fantasy this week with Romo on a bye, so I'll be even more upset than I normally would be if he plays like shit again.

Looks like Crabs was his fourth read on that play. Why can't he do this now? I agree that the WR corp is not that great at the moment but he still needs to look for them.

I'm hopeful, but not very optimistic about this game. We've beaten the Saints the last 2 years, so I think we COULD handle them. But if we play anything like we did last week, we don't have a shot. Granted it was a really good defense, but still, our team should have played better than that especially after our bye week. Gotta put the blame on our coaching staff and Kap. Unacceptable.

We'll need Brees to have a very poor game and to force at least three turnovers while not making any ourselves.

Didn't read previous posts so sorry if this is a repeat statement. If you look at last year compared to this year, the WRs put distance between them and the DBS. Look up at that clip above in the Bears game, space and a lot of it. This year without Crabtree, manningham, and Davis being injured every other game, Kap is having to throw his passes into tight windows. He is not there yet, and the receivers are not making it any easier for him.

Vernon Davis (concussion) is active for Week 11 against the Saints.

As is S Eric Reid (concussion). The 49ers played coy with Davis' status all week, but if you're owner, find a way to get him into your lineup if he wasn't already. He could be in for a big afternoon on the Superdome's artificial surface. Inactive for the 49ers are QB McLeod Bethel-Thomspon, WR Quinton Patton, LB Nick Moody, OG Joe Looney, TE Garrett Celek, DE Ray McDonald and DT Tank Carradine.
