I already had him as an answer. I won't duplicate the players.Shawn Estes?

Here's a couple more clues:
He made his major league debut in 1989, as a 27 year old rookie.
He had rotation mates in Mark Langston, Pat Rapp and Russ Ortiz (as well as Rueter and Estes).
He threw a no hitter against the Dodgers for 9 innings, only to lose it (both no hitter and the game) in the 10th.

Duh...everybody knows that one.He hit for the cycle in the same game that he threw a perfect game and turned 2 unassisted triple-plays.
Twice.
Nick Lowry! He hit for the cycle in the same game that he threw a perfect game and turned 2 unassisted triple-plays.

My recollection was that he mangled the spelling of BOTH names, thus, Nick Lowery.I have always thought this was the correct spelling. Nick Lowery was a kicker for the Chiefs.
I believe it was back on the Mouse board that some yokel was pimping for Noah Lowry, but kept calling him Nick Lowry. Of course, we know that Nick has no beginning and no ending, but this is how the legend started on message boards.
So if I mangled the original mangling, does that mean I've created my own legend (or is that just in my mind)? My recollection was that he mangled the spelling of BOTH names, thus, Nick Lowery.
