After The Lynch run/Hightower tackle the clock kept running, and running until the interception. If you remember, the clock stopped after Kearse' catch because there were endless replays of it.

The clock stopped anyway I think because Kearse was knocked out of bounds by an alert Butler who had just failed to cause the incompletion.

3 huge plays and one gargantuan, end of the world sized play...

So amazing BB had him absolutely coached up for that exact play, and was able to "force" Carrol to call the play, and Butler executed it beyond perfectly. As much as it was a dumb play call by Seattle, it took a lot for that bone headed call to translate into an interception.
