can say it a million times, he's just like andy reid. the second the run is stopped for little or no gain, oh no! it's not working any more and it will never work again. right back to the shotgun and passing.. because foles, who currently has a rating of 8.2 in this weather, is such a better option. and i think that's clear as he overthrows someone by 20 yards.

I said before kickoff, that Foles should have 10 or less pass attempts for the entire game. Essentially should have ran some wishbone offense and just ran ran ran every play

what's really funny now is, detroit is ready and loaded up for the run. now it's too late to center your game around it. they need to somehow get a few big passing plays.

kelly has now left 4 points off the board. it's absurd to say you cannot kick an extra point when kickers are drilling the ball towards the endzone on kickoffs and the shotgun is being used. even the punters are still knocking 30-40 yarders.

Is the wind/snow so bad that nobody is even attempting to kick?

I wouldnt be trying to kick xp in this game either. Youve got to be able to plant your foot to be accurate and that aint happening with this much snow, sludge and ice.

not at all. like i was saying earlier in the thread, the minny-balti game has similar conditions. they've kicked an extra point and 2 longish fg's of 39 and 40.

i think detroit is a little arrogant and that they also do not want to use akers, who is inconsistent and kicks a lot of low liners. kelly is just 'duh' and following them for no freakin' reason at all.

When punting and kicking off your target is a much larger area than when kicking a fg. Theyre making the right call and Philly had that 2 point conversion Foles just didnt hit his guy.
