'Game of Thrones' forgot to edit out green screen on a character's fingers on the latest episode of 'House of the Dragon'

King Viserys (played by Paddy Considine) had green-screen fabric on his hand during a scene in episode three.

Not quite. Rhaenyra is more "pureblooded" Targaryen because of Targaryen inbreeding practices:

- Laenor's mother is Targaryen, but he has no paternal Targaryen ancestry. Of Laenor's four grandparents, only one was Targaryen.

- Rhaenyra is Targaryen on both her father AND mother's side: Rhaenyra's father Viserys is doubly Targaryen, being the son of Targaryen siblings, and Rhaenyra's mother Aemma is the daughter of Daella Targaryen. Of Rhaenyra's four grandparents, THREE were Targaryen.

Comparing its ratings to HotD isn't the way to go. They need to focus on how its drawing ratings for the service. That's what's most important. If its the most watched thing on the service by a mile, that's good. If its getting people to add the service, that's good. If its barely outrating (or underperforming) shows that are far far cheaper, that's bad.

everyone with a critical opinion of "TRoP" is racist and misogynist!!

I tried watching this show and really wanted to love it. First time I was tired and fell asleep last week. Then this week I watched all three episodes, but the snail pace makes it boring for a fantasy series... and I'm not finding any of the characters to be particularly great. I don't know if I will keep watching the weekly episodes, but maybe I'll just watch it once every episode is out.

Now, House of the Dragon has me intrigued enough to wait for and watch each episode once it's released. The show might not be great yet, but I really like what they are doing.

The series has been generally good, probably like B- range, but the amount of time jumps are hurting it. I know they want to get moving on to the actual war, but a lot of the relationships are being hurt by not spending time in these lead up events. Seeing how its playing out, all of season 1 should have had 1, maybe 2, jumps. Instead, we're getting like 4 or 5.

The individual episodes are very good. But I agree with you. They are just going too damned fast. These feel like prologue instead of actual story. Make the entire 1st season lead up to wedding and have the fallout in future seasons (I have no idea what is coming, so maybe the actual S1 break point makes more sense??). I am also disappointed that we are now done with Milly Alcott. I thought she was awesome. The older version is not half as attractive and now has big shoes to fill.

Problem (I guess) is that, after the way GoT ended, HBO couldn't commit to the several seasons it would take for a slow burn / better developed story. I think this show/story is planned for 3 seasons

The whole wedding scene was masterful: the build-up and tension throughout, the entrance by Alicent, the choreography and production values and soundtrack, the Daemon-Rhaenyra scene.
