Amos was something special as he was good every week like clockwork. It's why we could not afford to keep him. They have this breakdown with film on HaHa on a different board I post and HaHa is shockingly bad and out of position often. He takes bad angles and gives up big plays weekly the exact opposite of Amos. I thought more of HaHa myself until I watched the breakdown vids, now I wish we had a rookie to play. He was not just bad he was awful. I agree with we should have paid Calahan the lousy little bit more he wanted. Go to chicitysports board and check the haha breakdown, it will depress you how bad he plays.

Correction. They could afford to keep Amos but they didn't want to. Likely because they didn't feel Amos was worth what GB paid. Amos looked good in a great defense however singularly he wasn't that good.

There's breakdown videos of even Urlacher looking bad. No one is saying HaHa is a superstar but IMO, if the bar is Amos, HaHa is right there with him.

At worst he's at least close enough that the change won't be noticed much at all this season.

There are things that Amos does better than HaHa but there are definitely things HaHa does better than Amos.

This defense, overall, won't be better or worse because of HaHa being here or Amos being gone.

Our def did not give up big plays with Amos, It will with haha. Huge difference IMO. haha will make great plays (more then Amos) but give up great plays too (again more then Amos). The Bears are so freakin talented it might not matter much, but the two guys are opposites of each other. haha more of a playmaker and Amos more consistent and safe. Amos being safe allowed others to be more aggressive. What I've seen of haha was a guy trying too hard to make big plays on defenses that needed a playmaker, i think here he might not have to think that way and be more of a system guy. If so we are fine.
