Happy Father's Day T-Roy
Going for it on 4th and 10 with 3 T.O.'s and the two minute warning was a risk that failed, but I can't blame them. Just gotta get it done now
In retrospect, Calvin Ridley or DJ Moore should have been the pick in round one. For Dak to be effective, he has to have guys wide open. His numbers got a little better at the end, but a lot of that has to do with Carolina going into a prevent up 16. Solid defense, solid running game, but a passing game that can't throw against an eight man front. No shame in losing at Carolina in their place, but the way we lost was discouragingDak was horrible today. he plays to tight.
He still accuracy issues and is starting fold big time under pressure. Come Dak!!Dak was horrible today. he plays to tight.
When are we gonna start putting the blame where it belongs??? Last year it was wide recievers. Get new ones in offseason same results. It was an embarrassing day for Garrett IMO. Lots of penalties and a terrible performance on offense. This team May come out and look fantastic next week, but we have some holes in our swing either way232 total yards. 4.1 yards per play. 3.9 yards per pass play. Sacked 6 times with no TDS and a turnover from our QB. Could be a very long year. Glad Garrett did not think the offense needed much work in the preseason. Glad they were ready to play and coached well with those 8 penalties. Could be a very long season.
Dak isn't Aaron Rodgers, never will be. Dak is Alex Smith, albeit a less experienced one. You can win games with them if you surround him with enough talent, but he can't win it by himself. Rodgers, Brady . Those guys canWhen are we gonna start putting the blame whers it belongs??? Last year it was wide recievers. Get new ones same results.

Yeah, set the tone. Just like watching our guys not hold their position against RGIII years back. Saw a lot of it today. Just can't do it and the coaches need to constantly be in their ears telling them to know their responsibility and hold the edge.Fellows, Cam Newton is known to run the ball occasionally.
It was maddening. We were led to believe all offseason we were going to stretch the field. WTF were those 3rd and 11 screens over and over. Give your team a chance to move the ball. The play calling was just scared and showed the coaches are just big pussies. Give the team a chance to mess up. Show them you have some confidence and maybe they'll come through for you. We treated 3rd downs like the only goal was to not turn it over and to gain field position for most of the game. Not acceptable when you get paid millions to play the game. When you call plays like we did it just bunches up more and more and more. Stretch The Field!!!One thing I don't get, in a league where PI is called on every other deep ball, the Cowboys didn't take one deep shot today. Even if were incomplete, Hell, even if it's picked, it would help the running game and underneath stuff.
I tend to agree. It was NOT the smart play, but at least we finally showed some balls. Kick it and pin them is the play. But I won't criticize for trying to win it there. I was thinking part of was trying to score quicker in case we missed the 2 pt conversion to give us a chance to still get the ball back and get a FG.Going for it on 4th and 10 with 3 T.O.'s and the two minute warning was a risk that failed, but I can't blame them. I'm not so sure about that. There were some poor throws and they hurt us. Period. But we were in 3rd and long all game and backed up in our zone and didn't even give him a chance to throw the ball to the sticks. He does need to be better, but he got very little help today on or off the field. When are we gonna start putting the blame where it belongs??? Last year it was wide recievers. Seriously, what was Witten going to do today to change things around? Another three 6 yard passes wasn't going to work. Witten would have been good on the last few drives, but we were good on those drives. To me we looked like a team that played very little in the preseason. Lee sucked in the first half. Zeke didd very little in the first half. Dak did very little in the first half. The missed tackles all game killed us. We made McCaffrey look like Gale Sayers. We let Cam fake us out. The penalties were killers. The play calling was baffling. Gregory going down hurt. The kickers miss was HUGE.We did not play well and did not deserve to win. However, would be a little easier with a TE like Witten and both missing OL. If we can't run then play action is out the window.
