So apparently HT had a 50% torn pec in March. That was the reason the Jets pulled his offer. From what I have seen, he failed every teams physical, which is why he went back to NE. SO why didn't they handle this in the off-season and we could have him back for the playoffs...Man, the people to be in Foxboro look stupid this off-season.

We don't know the type of "torn pec" If it was torn "pectoral major", it does not respond well to surgery.
If torn pectoral tendon, responds very well.....

I remember that... but didn't really delve into it since Pitt did have an offer on the table and were anxious to have him sign before he left town.

If it's career ending, yes -- they will look pretty stupid.

Well here is my $0.02. The Hightower loss did not seem all that significant to me which may be a blessing, will his leadership be missed, of course but the D still looked solid less one run. The secondary is playing better, much better seems they are now on the same sheet of music anyway, earlier games found DBs completely out of place. The commentator commented that Gilmore has left the stadium which I found odd even if a scratch this may be worth keeping an eye on.

Red Zone efficiency is my main concern at this point. It's all pretty and S _ _ _ when we move the ball down filed but then we seem to fall apart in the RZ. This needs to be worked on it's becoming a very notable issue.

Run game is fun Burkhead and White are the Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson of the football world. I would like to see them somehow on the field or in the backfield at the same time.

Ghost stunk yesterday and I am starting to worry about him.
