Domination against the Black Hawks and Pens. 6-1-3 in last 10 against playoff teams. 0-6-4 against non-playoff teams. WTF. Bad teams get up for us the way we get up for good teams.

Idea for next year. Place standings in the locker room. List whoever we are playing as the 1st place team. We go 48-8-24 for 120 points! Just 1 of my many great ideas.

I think one of the reasons they don't play hard all the other nights when the opponent is not the Penguins is because they are done with Berube and want him gone and/or they are done with the FO.

So, do the Flyers just match up really well with the Pens, season after season, coach after coach, or do they really just play harder against the Pens? If it's the latter, the next logical question is why can't they get up consistently for the other 28 teams?

I honestly think it's more mental on the side of the Pens. The Flyers get up for the game, but have momentum on their side when it comes to the Pens. They've made a living under their skin and the Pens can't get over it.
