Calvin Johnson revisited

On this play the ball was still moving around even as he was going out of bounds. I do think they made the right call.

Calvin had a couple of steps with clear control of the ball in his right hand before getting bent over by the Refs on a game winning catch.

Also the 100 yard TD returned fumbled should have been rules down as the DT fell on the ball and was touched. The DB then jumped in and took it from him and ran. They got every call in KCs favor except 1.

This officiating crew is well known as being the worst in the league and they lived up to it.

Finally saw the replay on that 100 yard fumble return. Absolutely ludicrous.

If this was same ol' Lions we would have been down 35-3 at the half. The two critical red zone turnovers flipped the edge in the game and that was same ol Lions...

But overall the last two weeks showed the Lions can compete against the league's better teams.

Hope we use the bye and get Stafford, Slay, Daniels, Hand, Diggs, and Hock healthy for Green Bay.

For a moment today I thought we were gonna win a big game.

Again, I couldn't watch the game. Only kept track of stats. 3 drives ending in fumbles in a row? 100 yard fumble return? Crazy stuff. "Watching" the game in this manner, it was Detroit's game. A lucky outcome for KC, and frustrating for Detroit fans.

Lions RB extends ball over goaline - KC defender knocks it loose. Everybody stands around waiting for TD signal. KC CB picks up ball in end zone and runs it 100 yards for a KC TD.

That’s a TD for the Lions in any other stadium w any other teams. But in Detroit you can actually return our touchdowns for your own. Crazy stuff indeed.

We also had a sketchy TD reversal on a Golladay TD. Judge for yourself.

Stafford looks like a new man with our new OC and Hockenson. Patricia is doing all the right things on defense. Would have loved to have the W but what's done is done. Feeling good about our chances vs Green Bay and Minnesota coming after the bye.

I will agree the Lions got the shaft yesterday. This game was theirs to win and some dumb stuff happened and you got an L.

Most fans of other teams are sleeping on the Lions, but something tells me they'll have plenty to say about who wins this division and goes to the playoffs. Good luck, except when the play the Packers.

I do think the Refs swung this one for sure but I also think there were about 4-5 times where the Lions could've put the game away and didn't.

Definitely feel lucky as a Chiefs fan to win this one. They Lions knocked the ball of a Chiefs players hand an embarrassing number of times and I'm not sure how you mess up a snap on an indoor field goal.

For some reason Stafford likes playing Russian Roulette in the 4th quarter for his comeback wins stats rather than putting teams away. It's pretty much his trademark...
