What's truly embarrassing here is that we're not even getting any offense. We keep icing the puck repeatedly.

They're trying to score four goals all at once and that plays into the opposing teams hand - they have to keep it simple and chip away - move the feet and create man advantages - that's how you get the spunk back

Just so taken with how big and fast the Panthers are. I don't think that as as team they are particularly bigger than the Flyers but the speed that they play with they seem big.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how a guy who has scored 1800 points in the Nhl is repeatedly left wide open or barely covered. He's crafty and strong, but there's no way in hell that he is faster than you at age 43.

I was hoping that the Flyers would come out and at least win the 3rd period. Now I am hoping to NOT give up a 3rd goal to Jagr and maybe score a second goal as a team....

I am willing to forgive and forget this one, but clearly the game Monday night now has an absolute ton of significance. You absolutely cannot lose this one 1-7 and then fly back and lay an egg in the home opener against the same team. There was a lot of talk out on the ice tonight and it definitely got physical. You have to think we'll be ready to play next time.

This was clearly "one of those nights". That said, the Flyers HAVE to win on Monday, and convincingly.
I would not be shocked to see a change in the lineup, either Gagner or Gudas or both in.
