TEX has a full 40man ... so will need to make a roster move to make room for activating Cruz.

I suspect Kirkman goes back to the 60day DL for cancer treatment. He wasn't going to be named to the post season roster anyway ...

Shit Ian, why the fuck are you worried about a few thousand empty seats? And btw, that place was rocking.

This is considered a regular season game. All regular season roster rules apply.

I was there and there is no way there was 40k in attendance, that said those of us that were there were loud and rocking. I was surprised there werent as many at this game as there was at the Darvish start against KC earlier in the year on a Sunday. Oh well I'll have to go tomorrow night and see if I can make Ian proud

Yeah we could tell on TV that nowhere close to 40k actually showed up.

Cowboys were on TV. And while DFW likes its baseball, it still loves its Cowboys...no matter how much they continue to be mediocre.

Honestly, with the way Martin has struggled id consider starting him on the bench, Cruz in rf, and Rios in left and gentry in center. I know Martin's arm and speed are great tools, but he struggles against really good lefties. That way soto could catch and AJ can dh.

Murphy may not even be on the roster tomorrow so Texas can load up on an extra pitcher.

hmmm, interesting

What are you going giving any credit to Todd (I never get the story straight) Willis?

I thought all you recent ESPN expatriots left all that drivel behind?

Fuck Todd Willis. I can't believe Kinsler even gave him an interview....and don't trust print press
EVER.
I do not believe Ian Kinsler was trying to dog fans at all....I hate things that can be taking out of context

oh yeah and fuck Todd Willis once again

Don't buy into that crap, especially from Willis

Never trust print press, ever. Especially when it's an entertainment buisness

I just watched the Breaking Bad finale. I need a WS Texas. You win that and I will be able to die happy.

hmmm, Girardi may be available next year...thoughts?

Pretty sure the FO keeps our shitty manager around another year so instead of winning more regular season games and getting a division title we continue having to play play-in and wildcard games to try and get in.

He'll land somewhere. I know a lot of people on here rip Wash, but you don't fire guys that lose Hamilton, Nap, MY and then Cruz for the last 50 games and still win 90+ games and play more than 162 for the season. You just don't

I don't see another alternative. Baker is hurt and a huge defensive downgrade at 1b.

The only alternative I see would be to put Kinsler at 1B and play Profar at 2nd. I know theres nothing easy about switching positions, but Kinsler could do it.

I'm glad you guys are finally talking about Moreland being terrible.... I've been saying all year that not bringing in a first baseman last offseason or at least retaining Napoli was a mistake.

Not retaining Napoli was a mistake, but not for the money he wanted, what he eventually got from the Red Sox was fair, especially now that he's no longer a primary catcher

I thought we ended up offering the same contract as the Sox, but wouldn't promise him full time 1B.
