Fast forward four months and the Patriots while not a juggernaut are a better team on paper that the 5-8 Raiders.

Interesting facts:

Raiders have score 308 points and given up 313.
Patriots have scored 276 points and have allowed only 239.

Only the 3-10 Denver Broncos have given up less 238.

If the Raiders lose, they are out of the playoff picture. If the Patriots win, it'll be a dogfight to play the Chiefs.

I keep hoping for the offense to spark and I keep getting disappointed. I have no idea what to expect with the offense, lack of offence takes it toll on the defense. While I hope we win I am not confiedent we will. But I will take a stab.

There are still 4 weeks left it's not a guarentee where the Chiefs will finish.

I do think NE wins next week then one more, not sure which game and they sneak into the playoffs only to be eliminated after 1 game.

Plenty of time to heal and get ready for 2023. Also gives BB time to research his prospective FAs and his draft strategy. He doesn't have Ernie and Scar to help him anymore.

I guarantee a surprise here and now.

The Bills will not play everyone against the Patriots in the Week 18 game and the Patriots will win in a Buffalo snowstorm.. They'll have their place locked up and will not expose Josh, or any of their top guys to potential injury. The only way that McDermott will be stupid enough to do that is if the Bills can guarantee the Bye only with a win over the Patriots. That will be their undoing. They'll overplay and Josh or Diggs will get hurt. Mark my words.......

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Jakobi Meyers (concussion) is expected to play in Week 15 against the Raiders.​

Meyers missed Week 14 because of the concussion but got in a pair of limited practices this week. Once officially active, Meyers will rank as a strong WR3 option. He gets a Vegas defense that sixth-most passing yards to opposing teams this year.
