Looking at stats, our Goalies are matching up very well against the rest of the league. Also read that Bouch has let in 2 or fewer goals in 13-14 of the last games he has started. With a 3rd pair defense last year we win the Cup. This team is deeper and better. We don't need to trade for another Goalie!

Bouch 2.25 GAA (8th) .922 SVPCT (8th)
Bob 2.48 GAA (13th) .918 SVPCT (15th)

Team 2.50 GAA (8th) .916 (11th)

Take out Leightons 4.01 .889 and we are even better.

Of course statistics can be misleading. Our goalies obviously benefit from the Top 1-6 defense in the league. But the bottom line is that they are getting it done.

PS: Of the higher ranked goalies, only Fleury has a Cup.

I also added a poll. For those of you that answer yes, indicate who you would trade and what you are willing to give up!

I would like another goalie but if we got one it would mess with the players with the cap someone good would have to go to fit in under the cap. That being said i think our goalies numbers are inflated because we have a great defense. If the other good goalies around the leaugue played behind our D they would have better numbers IMO.

I will actually be thoroughly pissed off we we do indeed trade for goalie after all these years, especially if we give up someone like JvR

As we found out a few days ago, Florida is willing to give away players for crap in return. Give 'em Nodl, give 'em a 1st, and give 'em whatever Phantoms' defenseman they want. Bobrovsky gets sent to Adirondack because he has a 2-way deal and wouldn't need to go through waivers. Carcillo or Powe gets a permanent scoring role. Flyers get the best goalie since the lockout and a goalie who has been dominant in international competition with impressive stats in his limited time in the playoffs with overmatched teams.

All the picks the Ducks got for Pronger are in the past, except for maybe a conditional 3rd this year, which doesn't matter since we have the Penguins 3rd from the Hamhuis fiasco. Like 48 said, we have our 1st round pick this year.

/Do you think the Panthers will give us Vokoun if the Eagles give the Dolphins Kolb? If so, make it happen!
