Another gem from Frost in the presser -

“Were going to get to the point where we don’t need celebrate just the one win”

Did you guys see Pat Fitzgerald's post game comments yesterday? He said they (NW) were banged up entering the Rutgers game. So Nebraska is putting a hurt on the opponents - looks like a return to physical Husker Football.

No doubt
AM and JD are going to crush the record books at this rate, we’re putting up offensive numbers we haven’t touched since 2007

The Big has had some really good qb’s since 2010

25/29 275 yds 86%

They noted during the game AM and K Murray are the only two qb’s in the nation putting up ridiculous stats like this

When was the last time Huskers put up 50 points?

This offense has the potential to be scary good

did you guys here this during the game:
the first time a Big Ten opponent had committed an accepted holding penalty on a pass play in 21 league games, dating back too Illinois in 2016.

that's just ridiculous. our DL and LBs are so bad the other team doesn't even have to hold. is that talent? Is that our DL coaches just asking guys to bull rush? our guys can never get away from defenders, seems like holding to me. i was watching the game yesterday (had to listen Saturday because was out camping) and saw a play where that big left tackle suplexed Gifford, it was the very definition of holding, the sideline ref was looking right at it. no clue how it was missed.

lack of talent plus a lack of respect for our program.

I could show you 5 times where Wisky held Nebraska

Martinez Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

''In the passing game, Martinez’s 25-of-29 effort against the Gophers set a Nebraska record for best completion percentage in a game with a minimum of 20 attempts. The previous record was held by Dave Humm and stood for 44 years. The 86.2 percent completion percentage was also the best in the country this season for any quarterback with more than 25 pass attempts.''

Martinez impresses me. Aside from the obvious physical talent, the kid never seems to get rattled. Never too high, never too low, always even keel. Pretty impressive for an 18 year old kid. You also get the sense that all of the other offensive players trust him in the huddle.
