If you think you have seen the Odor movie before ... you have ... see Chris Davis and Julio Borbon. Sophomores struggle immensely when they have to get untracked without the benefit of getting up to speed against minor league pitching.

TEX had an easy route to getting Odor to AAA when Rua went to the 60day ... but spent the roster spot on Kickham. Apparently they want to use the game off game on program for Odor to get back to where he was when he was promoted from AA when he was hot.

If Odor is part of TEX future ... then TEX can't just burn him up as it appears they are. Maybe they see Profar as the future 2bman and Odor is just the guy they pencil into the lineup between now and the time Profar maybe returns.

I don't know. Must be extremely frustrating for Odor.

That's why we're considering moving Blanks to the OF. That way we keep Blanks, MM, and Fielder in the line-up.

I'm aware of that, but I'm just relaying what I read. I'm sure with Mitch's injury history (Blanks' is a concern also) that they would rather keep him from roaming the OF. Blanks has better speed too.

Can Blanks be sent down without exposing him to waivers? I am not sure what his situation is.

OF is getting kinda crowded especially by LH bats. This is about to get very complicated ... even without having to factor 1b and DH into it.

Demoting Peguero exposes him to waivers. Blanks has an option but has to approve the demotion due to service time. Dunno on Martin. Smolinski has an option. DeShields can't be optioned.
