Sykora is rested and he has all the incentive in the world as he has never been in a Stanley Cup winning team photo. I will say that if he gets a chance to play, he will score an important goal in the first game of his return. I know many still dislike him for his antics in 02 but I will never forget him crying on the bench at the end of game 7 in Colorado in 01. He seemed like the only guy who gave a shit. This story can turn out good for this team. Sit either JJ or Poni.

Yeah I mean jj is faster but sykora is a goal scorer. I wouldn't have a problem plugging him in.

Sykora has had a nice little break, probably well rested, and he'll at least put the puck on net. Not sure who you take out, all have been pretty solid. Not that he would replace Clarkson, but swap Clarkson and Sykora for those opportunities in the first game and Sykora probably scores on both of them.

I say roll with the same lines as Game 1 again..too soon to start mixing things up. Now if we lose Game 2 I could easily get behind making some moves. Tallinder in for Greene , Larsson in for Harrold and Sykora in for JJ.

Lets not forget we beat the Rags 3 straight when JJ came back. If the players that needed to show up in Game 1 actually showed up we wouldnt be talking about this but what we need to do to go up 2-0.

My only concern with Sykora is his fatigue during the games.... he may start strong but he loses his stamina and legs... that gets on me(no fault of his own, he's old out there)

I agree I think sykora should get in.... he at least shots and hits the net most of the time... He is confortable with Elias, and he has one hell of a shot at times... Remember we only had like 17 shots on goal in game 1... too fancy passing, esp you Kovy... we need pucks on net and to be physical. I am also for Larson in due to his size and we got manhandled game one.... they are a big team and we need size to combat that... Although i think Harrold is playing okay, I just think Larsons size is needed... Plus remember when he came back in that series, he had a clutch goal by jumping in the play....

yeah for all his speed i havent seen his offensive upside unlike larrson who i think is very usefull in the o zone. if no sykora then i would do harrold for larrson.
