Kaepernick is a carbon copy of Mike Vick. Strong arm, but very inaccurate. Checks his first read, then runs.

We already tried that -- how'd it work out for us? Give me the guy that's going to hang in the pocket and try to complete the pass, rather than the guy who is going to run around and fumble every other down.

I don't see why not. It gives them a great secondary. They could make do with the current guys at WR, RB, Safety and guard and do quite well IMO.

We're OK with the current rb's? A 33 yr.old who's really a spot performer. An rb who despite what McCoy wouldn't do still couldn't get on the field? You think carrol and the rookie who didn't even dress for half the games could be a solution in the secondary?. The current wr's (Maehl, Smith, Huff, Cooper, Mathews)?

Me too. For all his flaws, I bet Chip could coach him up into something special.

He'd be the best QB in the division running this offense. Trade for Kap. Send Foles to STL or NYJ. Even swaps IMO.

Seahawks have signed Cary Williams to a 3 year, $18 million deal. So we essentially traded corners. Will be interesting to see how that pans out, but I think Williams will do just fine as a #2 corner surrounded by Pro Bowlers.

I am not saying I agree with those moves, but Foles, Kendricks and Cox are the prime tradeable assets Chip has at his disposal as he considers a move up for MM.
