Interesting post. Really interested in seeing how our roster pans out. Deng and Granger are on their last legs according to some. Ennis is a an NBA rookie and Wade has health issues. How this roster rounds up will determine whether the Heat get into the playoffs and past the first round.

That article is spot on. It's easy for us Heat fans to praise Lebron leaving Cleveland 4 years ago. It was what it was. Cleveland never put any quality players around him and he wasn't going to win in Cleveland standing pat.

I'm almost convinced that the NBA rigged the lottery for the Cavs to setup the Lebron returning home narrative. How does a team win the lottery 3 out of 4 years?

Lebron's homecoming wasn't heartfelt, those who believe that's why he returned home are naive and don't realize how smart Lebron is.

1. Cleveland has younger talent and more trade assets than Miami.
2. It fixes his image as the guy who burned his hometown.

Like avalon said, I'm never cheering Lebron again. Only reason I cheered for him is because he was with the Heat. I don't think a franchise that was horribly ran like the Cavs, as well as a petulant spoiled child like Dan Gilbert should ever have the opportunity to hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy.
