Adam Schefter:

Four teams - SF, PHIL, DET, TB - in play on Dashon Goldson - but DET, TB considered favorites. TB also in on CBs Sean Smith, B. Grimes, DRC.

I dunno, I think Reed could be a better SS at this point of his career than a FS. Not as fast as he once was, could be a great combo actually with him and Delmas in the backfield.

Are we still in the market for Delmas?

Tough to say, I haven't seen anything past that one blurb. There were connections to the Rams.

I'd be intrigued if we were. He seemed like a bright spot on the Lion's D, when he was healthy. Which is an obvious concern. I feel like he's more of a SS, but I can't say that with much confidence. I'm blanking on what he played in Detroit.

Adam Schefter: An upset of today: Steelers RB Jonathan Dwyer signed his sixth-round tender for $1.323 million. Didn't want to wait. Wanted to prove point.

@MoveTheSticks: Hearing a lot of buzz about the Lions and safety Glover Quin. Tomorrow could be an active day for Martin Mayhew.

Geoff Mosher:

Plenty of teams have expressed interested in Pro Bowl safety Laron Landry. The #Eagles are one, per sources. We'll see what happens.

Tony Pauline:

Continue to hear two names paired with the Green Bay Packers as potential FA signings; DL/Shaun Smith and RB/Shonn Greene

No, no, no! Shonn Greene has some beast in him that I don't want to see on any NFC contender, especially GB. Although, I'd rather they get Greene than Eddie Lacy or Steven Jackson.

An "industry source" tells the Florida Times Union free agent CB Derek Cox will likely command a deal worth roughly $24 million over four years.
So $6 million annually. The "industry source" is presumably someone who knows about NFL contracts, has a grasp of Cox's value, and isn't his agent. The Bucs, Redskins, and Jaguars are each known to have at least some interest in Cox.

@PFCentral: 49ers Very Active Pursuing Sean Smith: The San Francisco 49ers are aggressively pursuing free agent CB Sean Smith . 49ers Very Active Pursuing Sean Smith

Even if the Niners sign Sean Smith, I would still want 'em to go after Revis (and cut Rogers). I don't like the thought of Sean Smith covering Percy Harvin.

That would make Brown a nickel CB, which seems like a waste; but it beats Harvin Torching Sean Smith twice a year (assuming the dude doesn't tear an achiles signing that enormous contract he's gonna get; those things can be hazardous to one's health).

Mike Chappell:

For those linking #colts to Packers WR Greg Jennings, Indy has not expressed an interest. I totally trust the source.
