Tough one for Niners fans. The guy was an all-time Niners great. But it was probably wise to let him walk.
I happen to think this is a mistake for Philly but not because I don't respect the player's heart and passion. He's just too old to commit to IMO.
Not happy about this but what can you do? He will give the same effort for the Eagles that he always gave with the 9ers. I will miss him.
Some very interesting moves for a team that is bringing back Sanchez.....The Eagles are now completely unrecognizable. A lot of peculiar moves to say the least.
They overpay for Maxwell, sign an aging RB to replace McCoy, don't tag Maclin and lose him to KC..... Am I forgetting anything? Either chip is a genius or he will be coaching a college team real soon.
He's probably got another two good years left.Tough one for Niners fans. The guy was an all-time Niners great. But it was probably wise to let him walk.

At the beginning of the year Philly's offensive line was beat to hell too. That's the main reason McCoy started out the year slow as well. He couldn't rush for a 100 yards in a game until week 6. Sanchez did have a higher completion percentage but he was also sticking to a much more conservative approach as well. Foles may not be elite but I think his ceiling is much higher than Sanchez.Sanchez was better on paper last year than Foles. Just sayin.
I think Foles is almost surely gonna be throwing for someone else this year.
