Also gotta take into account state sales tax. I read on the MMQB this week, a player that chooses a Florida team actually pockets like 7% more then a player that plays on a California team....

Tax rate in CA is 13.3% compared to 0 in FLA

Yeah it works the same in the NFL as well. But playing your 8 home games in a state with an income tax as opposed to one without one is a tangible difference.

Sure, just only half as big as many assume.
