Yeah, those 7 games against the Sabres were a total mess. I'd definitely consider the 2010-2011 season to be one of the biggest failures Ive had the joy of watching.

Is This Year Over Yet?

Thankfully, after last night, it seems even the die-hard bloggers are willing to admit that this season is done.

Kinda glad Mason didn't steal the game for them; a goaltending controversy between him and Bryz is simply rediculous IMO, as neither one of them should be the starter next season. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Mason steal the job next year from whomever, but he won't regain his former abilities by simply putting on the orange & black jersey.

Wake me up when it's over -- I can't read any more quotes from Giroux or Hartnell talking about how they need to put a string of wins together, blah blah blah...

yep, i think last night was the nail in the coffin.

IMO, one of the things that doomed them this season was talking about 'must win' games too early.. they were talking about 'must win' games back in february, which is bull shit.. the only game i was willing to put a 'must-win' label on so far this season, was last night. you can't play every game like that, the energy drops when you lose a couple of them and then you struggle.
