They'd be a lot more harmless with Nick Foles and Case Keenum throwing to them but I do get what you're saying. Even Tebow got a playoff win because of Thomas.

Speaking of Thomas, I don't think this upcoming draft class has many freaks in them. Lots of big strong players, lots of undersized skilled players but not a lot of players with everything.

Denver had a talented TE (Julius Thomas) that they lost in free agency to boot. They clearly value the position, but had to go to the backup plan (Owen Daniels).

The most "freakishly" talented WR (if he comes out) might be Mike Williams, but he's coming off a neck injury.

First-pick really hates Antonio Morrison for some reason, lol.

One trade down in the 3rd, picked up a 4th and 6th...

Your score is: 7248 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 9: Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis (A+)
Round 2 Pick 9: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU (A)
Round 2 Pick 13: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State (A-)
Round 3 Pick 12 (NYG): Dan Voltz, C, Wisconsin (A+)
Round 4 Pick 9: Tajae Sharpe, WR, Massachusetts (B+)
Round 4 Pick 23 (NYJ): Nick Vannett, TE, Ohio State (A-)
Round 6 Pick 9: Chris Jones, DT/DE, Mississippi State (A)
Round 6 Pick 23 (NYJ): DeAndre Houston-Carson, FS, William & Mary (A)

Hunter Henry went much earlier in this one (was gone before my second rounder). For QBs, Goff was off the board and Cook went right after I took Lynch. Top two OT and WR were off the board in the first 8 picks as well.

looks like alot of posters are into doubling up on WR's early.

I think they really need to consider doing that looking at the state of the Rams WR's.

Geez, Shopson. Gordon and McGowan are loads! Sign them both and put McGown in on the left side for the jumbo package!

They are huge, and likely to be third day picks at best, but I haven't really seen much of either to know if they can actually use that size to block effectively. That pick of McGown is just scary; who wants to try to tackle that coming at you with a head of steam?

First try with Rams picking at #18. Targeted Boykin as QB in this try (over Hackenberg, Brissett, and Hogan who were all available late) looking for that mobility. If Boykin busts as a QB, they can always use him as a WR project. Got a bad grade for picking him in the 4th, but I doubt he lasts to the sixth in the real draft. Traded down several times. Backfilling depth at DE, CB, FS, ILB while drafting potential starters at LT, C, WR. Surprised Scooby was still there in the 4th, could be an eventual replacement for Laurinaitis. I like the pairing of Treadwell's size and physicality with Addiston's speed and agility.

Your score is: 7058 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 18: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss (A)
Round 2 Pick 21 (WASH): John Theus, OT, Georgia (B+)
Round 2 Pick 31 (ARI): Dan Voltz, C, Wisconsin (A)
Round 3 Pick 9 (N.O.): Shawn Oakman, DE, Baylor (A)
Round 3 Pick 18: Nick Vannett, TE, Ohio State (B)
Round 3 Pick 25 (PITT): DeAndre Houston-Carson, FS, William & Mary (A-)
Round 4 Pick 18: Scooby Wright, ILB, Arizona (A-)
Round 4 Pick 25 (PITT): Trevone Boykin, QB/WR, TCU (D-)
Round 6 Pick 23 (K.C.): Bralon Addison, WR, Oregon (A+)
Round 7 Pick 23 (K.C.): Brian Poole, CB, Florida (A)

Wouldnt mind seeing the Rams going with ILB Reggie Ragland at 18 to replace JL55. No way the top WR will be there and your looking at probably the 3rd QB in a weak class. If we lose our last two games we might get back around 10-12 range. Then a stud Center and TE in the second.

Yea, Laurinaitus has played his whole career for a useless franchise and he is pretty much done as evidenced by his routinely getting blocked on plays especially on run defense. What a shame. Let him and maybe Long walk to another team so, like SJax, they both have a shot at a ring before they retire. They deserve that much!

JL55 is finished we need a stud MLB

What about moving Ogletree to MLB? He's athletic enough and has a knack for getting to the football. I think he'd be a great fit. Plus we can keep Barron in his role as "weak safety".

There are several interesting ILB candidates in the draft, but I don't know that any of them are guaranteed "studs", even Ragland, who is a projected 1st rounder. Ragland (Alabama), Brothers (Missouri), Matakevich (Temple), Morrison (Florida) all could be options. Unfortunately, the most talented LB will be off the board very early; Jaylon Smith (Notre Dame). He plays OLB, but is projected to fit inside as well. Myles Jack (UCLA) might be able to play inside as well?

I like the idea, but is Ogletree "smart" enough of a player scheme-wise to be the "QB" of the D??? I ask because I really have NO idea...Does he have the ability to read the offense and call audibles accordingly??? If so, I'm all for it!!!
