Scoring is based on team needs, player values, and draft positions. It favors the user/computer selecting a player of need and rewards the teams that select players that may have fallen (become "steals") in the draft.
With that in mind, know the players and realize when they fall. Score best when they fit your team needs.
Trades alone do not impact your score. We do not cap the trades offered as to have more variety in the drafting experience, thus you can trade to have a great portion of the draft if you so desire (the most picks we have seen is approximately 100 in one draft!). However, there is a point where too many picks negatively affects your score.
By rule, Compensatory Picks cannot be traded.
Each draft you play is unique with its own set of events. There are rare occurrences that happen, with players falling just right for a specific team. Users that score the best realize this and capitalize on these rare events. Because these events are rare, the more you play the better your chances of having the opportunity to have some amazing scores. Rare events also means that on occasion you will see a strange trade or a strange pick. Within the actual draft there are always instances no one predicted and this game was designed to mimic some of these events.

Talent to replace Long, Laurinaitis and Cook, two quality WR prospects and the top TE to help the offense, 4 year starting C to start immediately, and a tall press corner to replace Jenkins in the rotation if he leaves. Cardale Jones gets an opportunity to show if he can be more Cam or Culpepper than JaMarcus.

I was targeting Beavers at 6.15 in my mock but he was gone. Went with the underrated CB Robinson as a fall-back.

Especially if you try to maximize value by drafting guys that slip. They're all RBs, DTs, and 3rd tier WRs lol.

Well, safe to say Jaylon Smith will be tumbling down draft boards now that he may miss all of the upcoming season due to nerve damage in his injured knee.

I tend to look at who went in the top 14 before I start. If someone is in the top 14 that is a huge reach, I usually start over (I've seen Nick Martin, Ryan Kelly, Josh Doctson, etc in there). Hargreaves rarely falls to 15, but in that mock a lot of guys that typically go 15-20 were in the top 14, so somebody had to fall.

Your score is: 7798 (GRADE: A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 23 (MINN): Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss (A+)
Round 2 Pick 12: Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas (A-)
Round 2 Pick 14: Nick Martin, C/OG, Notre Dame (A-)
Round 2 Pick 23 (MINN): Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State (A+)
Round 3 Pick 13: Harlan Miller, CB, Southeastern Louisiana (B)
Round 3 Pick 23 (MINN): Sheldon Day, DT/DE, Notre Dame (A)

Round 6 Pick 31 (CHI): Kevin Hogan, QB, Stanford (C+)
Round 7 Pick 11 (WASH): Charone Peake, WR, Clemson (A+)

Traded down in the first since only Treadwell slid to #15 (and was still available at 23), picking up a 2nd and 3rd. Traded down in the 6th to pick up a 7th.

The Keenum move was only needed because they made the stupid move to cut him the season before. Of course, we might have to create a slide rule of stupid to grade some of the Rams moves, lol.

For me, the jury is out on using a 5th rounder on Battle. If he's able to become a swing tackle, he would be worth the 5th rounder IMO. He was basically red-shirted last year, which was their intent from the beginning.

Keenum's history and its associated stupidity are obvious. Battle's move stupidity was that he was undersized by over 50 lbs. We had tackles on the PO that were bigger.

I agree, jury is still out on Battle. they weren't expecting him to play this season anyways and felt he was worth the risk for a 5th. of course, had they used a 7th on Collins then they wouldn't need to waste a future 5th for Battle, but that's a whole other debacle.

the 7th for Keenum was pointless to me. he's no better than Davis whom they already had, so I saw no reason to give away a pick to acquire basically the same player. thankfully, it was only a 7th and most 7th rounders don't make the team anyways.
