We obviously have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. But so far Poles has only signed one LB, which was a good signing and good value, but LB isn't our top priority. And the only other potential signing at this point is another LB. I'm expecting some signings on the trenches or this will not be deemed a successful free agency period for us. I suppose patience should be the operative word here.

Poles stressed he would be patient and wouldn't overspend. He outright said he wanted to get through this offseason with financial flexibility for future offseasons.

He is following that path so far.

I read somewhere, think it was NFL.com or something, that Pocic is expected to stay with the Browns. I'm not as concerned about that because this is one of the better drafts for centers in recent years. But I sure would feel a helluva lot better if we can nail down a couple of players in the trenches.

Damn, another OT on my radar gone. Jawaan Taylor to the Chiefs on a 4/80 deal with 60 guaranteed. Another overpay like McGlinchey, but for some reason it doesn't feel quite so bad. Taylor is young and his strength is pass protection. Andy Reid knows what makes for a good OT. And Mahomes is going to love having him on the line for protection.

Holy shit, I just saw that. Gotta be honest, I have no clue what the Bears strategy is here. So far we only ink two players. We sign not one but two LBs, who both are MIKEs. Someone make sense of this for me.

Well there's no problem in shifting Edwards over to the WILL, he can handle that position. But I'd like to think we could have signed Okereke for a lot less than what we're going to pay Edmunds. I'm really not getting Poles strategy so far.

Altho I didn't have Davis on my Guard wannabee list, his name was brought up as a potential Bears signing in various articles and vlogs. I'm fine with the signing in and of itself. I'm just continuing to wait on Poles adding some talent to the DL.

Davis has only ever played RG. This signing could mean giving Jenkins another shot at RT.
